“We were in the area for Thanksgiving and wanted to cook an Italian dinner for our friends. We found this store online and decided to give it a go. It is a small store, but it is full of great stuff. All sorts of pasta from Italy, sweets, sauces, they make their own fresh sausages, have bread, cheeses and other Italian cured meats. Everything we got was delicious. Would totally recommend this place to anybody who wants to get something more authentic than what you would get at your usual grocery store. Owners were very helpful, attentive and offered detailed explanation of the goods in their store. Go check it out!”
“I've been shopping at Superior's since before my son was born and that's over 50 years. Fresh meats always,fresh vegetables always, and the family is the kindest and friendliest always. Even though they occasionally raise prices, the prices are fair, after all they have to live too but they don't pass the burden on to their customers. I appreciate the fact that they also deliver. And even though the store is small it's cozy and has a friendly atmosphere, it's like the customers are family as well and I hope they never ever move.”

“They have a good selection of halal deli meats which is hard to find here. I bought goat many years ago and it was not butchered how I like (cultural difference- we trim a lot of the fat off our meat whereas they left the fat caps) so I will occasionally buy other meats from them (chicken, beef). They are helpful.”
“Steve and his sons run a great butcher stand at the Broad St market stand. They are friendly and quite accommodating. Their prices are fair for the quality of the items they carry. Will slice any meat to your requested specifications. They will handle special requests also. They make delicious bacon burgers and now sell homemade maple cured bacon without nitrates. Great find to stock your freezer.”
