“This store has been absolutely fantastic. I've had the pleasure of shopping there for an impressive 21 years, and it's been a consistently great experience.💜💜💜 highly recommended every Friday you pay cash 30 off”
“Great shop! I always find something fabulous, and different. I love unique and vintage clothing and it never disappoints. Bring your friends, it’s a fun shopping day and never disappoints!!!”
“I can't come in here without wanting to spend or over spending. What is it about antiques that make us just want to stare at it on a cool cabinet or something?”
“Wow!!! Aptly named...this place IS a literal treasure trove of all the toys and comics from my childhood! The prices are really fair. And the owner accepts trades! Didn't have enough time to thoroughly explore today, so will definitely be back to the Dover location...and will make a trip to check out the Harrisburg location too.”
“My company custom ordered desk set ups for myself and two other employees and we had a great experience. Jerry helped up customize the desks to exactly what we needed. Two components arrived to them damaged, but they caught this issue right away and let us know they were reordered immediately so that the pieces we received were perfect.”
“Found everything I was looking for and more! Staff is very sweet and polite. Prices are reasonable. The store is clean. They have sales for Hero Day (Mon), Senior Day (Tues), Family Day ( Wed), and Education Day (Thurs). This is a Must See Store!”
“I’ve driven by Treasures from Home for years and always noticed the clothing racks and little displays outside. I’d constantly think, “one day I need to stop in,” but never actually did until this past Saturday. And I’m so glad I finally went!
This place is such a hidden gem. Outside alone, they had a $2 rack and a $1 bin, which immediately pulled me in. Once inside, it just kept getting better. There are so many “treasures from home” to browse name brand clothing, shoes, a whole purse room, and even handmade items. I loved that they have dressing rooms available, which makes it easy to actually try things on.
The staff was really friendly, and the overall layout impressed me. There’s a lot to look through, but it’s not overcrowded you can comfortably walk around and take your time. I could easily see myself spending a couple of hours here just browsing.
The prices are more than reasonable, and I liked that many items have tags with additional discounts. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size range they had a great plus-size selection, not just limited sizing like you sometimes see in resale shops.
There’s parking on the side of the building, and if that’s full, there’s additional street parking nearby, which makes it pretty convenient.
I didn’t end up purchasing anything this visit, but honestly, that just means I’ll be back soon (and probably leaving with a lot next time!). Definitely worth stopping in if you’ve ever driven by and been curious like I was.”
“I lost my mind in this store! My favorite thrift store of all time. As a plus size woman, was able to find my size and many MANY selections of everything! I bought, intimate wear, sports bras, skirts, leggings, shirts, tanks I’m telling you I restocked my wardrobe! Old wardrobe was in desperate need of recycling and or trash.”
“If you are looking for vintage clothing or housewares you will find it here not too mention there is a room dedicated to pets and part of the proceeds will be donated to Feline Solutions a cat rescue in York,Pa”
“I've been shopping here for many years. It's always so much fun to visit. You never know what you're going to find and I have found some real treasures. I always have pleasant interactions with the staff. The pricing is so much better than many others thrift stores like Goodwill, which I now avoid because their pricing is so ridiculous. Also, there is the half-price day on Wednesday and there are sales every day on certain color tags. I don't really have any strong criticisms. The aisles are a little narrow in some places, making it a little difficult to navigate your cart with other shoppers, but that's because there's so much merchandise in here and only so much space. I wonder how many people realize they are shopping in the ghost of a Phar-Mor store. If you want to go down a fun rabbit hole, read about the history of Phar-Mor and how it went bankrupt. It's a fascinating story.”
“How often have I driven by the Lower Allen Shopping Center and never noticed Passiton Consignment?
We all know. “Word of mouth” is the best advertising. A friend of mine told me about this hidden gem of preloved items.
I met the owner, Tina, today. She told me she's been in business for nearly 20 years. If you survived COVID-19, that in itself is a success.
Tina obviously has discriminating taste in what she accepts as consignment. There are many beautifully displayed items.”
“I went here for the first time today by myself and was treated with nothing but kindness. The women that work there are phenomenal! Not to mention the inside is beautifully laid out. If you’re a bag/ clothes fanatic the way I am, you MUST go here. So many great options to choose from. I have nothing but good things to say! ❤️”
