“Weis Pharmacy in Ephrata is like a breath of fresh air compared to the CVS right up the street. The Pharmacist is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He always has time for a question or whatever, and the Pharmacy Tech's are wonderful! They get to know the customers so quickly. It's been a very long time since I've felt so comfortable at a Pharmacy. It almost reminds you of old mom n pop pharmacies.”

“I have a history of not having good experiences at Weis Market, today was the exception I was able to find everything I needed. I checked out through the self-checkout and had some issues trying to get my peppers to properly scan. Jen, the young lady assisting at self-checkout was there immediately and was very polite and kind. She did NOT treat me like a bother I really appreciated her. I just hope that as an employer you appreciate her. I tried doing the store online review but I used my phone number because I lost my store card. I could not do the online review because I do not know my card number and it does not print on receipt. It would be helpful to print it on the receipt.”
“Pretty well stocked market. Super friendly staff. Good sales prices on fruits, vegetables and meats. Great prices for eggs too. Same layout as most of these older Weis markets with deli, baked goods, and some vegetables as you walk in.”

“The Weis store is a great place 4 fresh produce n the prices r spot on. The meat dept has some nice looking roast, shrimp, but sometimes they r pricey. I try 2 check out the discount mark downs..that suits me just fine n some of my neighbors say they also do the same. Now when they have buy one get one free, that's when U should jump on it! The center isles r usually well stock n clean. The workers r nice n helpful if U can't find something n the cashier's r friendly. It's worth my duckets 2 shop there. Try it, what do U have 2 loose..better yet c what "U" can find n gain.”
“The pharmacists are very helpful and always friendly. I think they enjoy having people come into the pharmacy, maybe because most orders are delivered. Great service for complex prescription lists. Feels like an old-fashioned pharmacy.
For refills, I always press '1' to speak to pharmacists directly because I have trouble entering the numbers correctly on my flip phone.
There are two 'Loading Zone' parking spots on Lime St. and more along Chestnut for picking up prescriptions, all right next to the pharmacy.”

“Always the nicest staff and always have meds ready in a timely manner! The staff always makes time for each patient picking up their meds even when they are super busy. Karen specifically called me the very next morning, when I had issues with a prescription not being sent to the pharmacy the day before. She called stating she had my meds ready for me and even told me what my copay would be.”
“This is a great drug store. Independently owned and operated. The folks working here care for their customers and know everyone in town. They are an excellent place to schedule vaccinations if/when you need them. I would recommend them to anyone.”
“This store has the strangest layout I have ever seen in my entire life. Like why are there two aisles of cooking supplies and two aisles of spices in totally different areas? It makes absolutely no sense but the products are good and service was quick and the store is clean.”
“The store itself gets five stars. It is a beautiful store love the selection. The only reason I gave four stars is because the evening staff can be a bit rude. I was there recently checking out 5 minutes before close and they turned the lights off. I'm assuming it was the manager. Not a good look. Makes a customer feel they're unwanted. I had just finished my shift of 12 hours on my feet as a nurse. Like to see how my patients would feel if I did that to them.”

“I have been going to this Weis for 35 yrs. Each yr actual cashiers became less and less. It's a very frustrating process when you have a full cart of groceries. Constantly hearing put back in bag, or wait for help. I went shopping this morning.Absolutely.No cashiers.One lady running around trying to help everybody who was cashing out. I left my full cart of baggage groceries because the machine kept telling me to wait for help which I did I waited and waited. I ended up leaving my full cart of groceries.I will never return.I'll go to a grocery store that hires cashiers.”
“I can't get through to the pharmacy auto refill line. When i call, it just stops ringing after a while.... calling the main number listed on this page. This has been an issue for months.Edit:Giant followed up with a phone call and let me know that their service provider had some... difficultiesThat's been resolved and the phones shouldn't be an issue any more.Thanks Giant for the feedback!”
“My husband and I had Covid Shots at Rite Aid 11/10/23.The lady who administered the shot was so nice, and the shot did not hurt. She was so cheerful and made us forget we were going to get a shot. “The service I received recently from an associate & manager, is what prompted me to write this review.
The associate took the time to try to help me find a product, and when they couldn't, they didn't just say sorry we don't have it... They double checked with the manager, and because it was out of stock in their store, called another store to check for the product for me . This was a level of customer service that seemed to be long gone, but I truly appreciated it. Thank you for making my shopping experience so much better, and I definitely will be visiting your store again!”

I have used this pharmacy for my compounding and they were previously great.
After my most recent experience I am transferring my business out. My doctor sent a new prescription but I didn't hear from the pharmacy so after a week I called. The response I got was "oh, you wanted that filled?" That was red flag #1. Then I received a call with no VM from them so I assumed (my fault) that my prescription was ready. I drove 2 hours only to be told my specific medication had been sent to their Erie office to be filled. But that it hadn't yet because it was lost in the shuffle and was likely at the bottom of the bin. And they had the audacity to show me my prescription at the bottom of the bin!!!! I was then given the option of having it forwarded to Erie to be filled with no concrete date.
There are a lot of things you can be this flippant and unprofessional on, people's medication isn't one of them.
Custom Pharmacy is no longer your friendly neighbor hood drug store. They have been taken over by big pharma and are already acting like it.”

“Pharmacists are the best. Patient with my questions and offer me alternatives. The store is fine. Only 2 negative things. The carts are NEVER wiped down and they are not charged for use. I am disabled and need to be secure. Second, Boars Head lunchmeat is the best. Carry this please Giant Food isn't close but worth the gasoline just to buy Boars Head meat. So, the Pharmacy is why I am a loyal customer.”
“They are fast, friendly, and professional with excellent prices, easy and reliable text message refill system, and they answer their phones reliably and quickly! I also feel my personal health information is safe with Walmart and I've had a flawless experience with insurance covering my medications, and with them quickly requesting refills from my doctor quickly, efficiently, seamlessly and seemingly instantly. I like that the payment security is the same as buying things at Walmart (vs. some other system that could be hacked) and if I had an insurance gap the med prices would be less than a hundredth of what they might be elsewhere.”

Their generic drug substitutions are as good as the name brand drugs.”
