Thistledown At Seger House is a charming, historic boutique hotel in an excellent location close to downtown shops, restaurants, and attractions. Many guests describe it as a wonderful, special, and perfect experience, with beautiful, clean, quiet, and welcoming rooms. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and friendly. Some rooms feature a fireplace, and there is a winery and a delicious restaurant, Sweet Rust, on the first floor. The check-in process is contactless, with keys left in a mailbox, which some guests found confusing due to a lack of clear instructions. There is no front desk, with phone numbers provided for contact. While generally accommodating, some minor issues were noted, such as a heating unit malfunctioning and older amenities like a suction cup soap dish. A few guests suggested adding amenities like a full-length mirror, a floor lamp for reading, and a local guidebook. Despite these small points, it is frequently called the best place to stay in town, with many visitors planning to return.
Perfect location in town. Adam and his staff made it easy for us to do a late check in. Would love to stay here again.

A great little place in Ligonier. I stopped in to indulge in some delicious pastries at the bakery and followed that up with a trip across the hallway to the wine tasting room. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours. Great wine great atmosphere.

We absolutely loved this place!! We called at the last minute and they were so accommodating! Michelle met us and showed us to our room and answered any questions that we had! The room we stayed in was perfect! Don’t pass up the chance to stay here! It is a special experience!
