“My second stay here. Close to my destination. Very nice rooms/bathrooms. Helpful, responsive staff. Hot breakfast, no complaints.
Nearby activities: Walkable to Community Arts Center, restaurants, grocery, department store shopping. Not a lot of parking, don't move UR car after U arrive, great location for walkers.
Safety: Well lit, other hotels & restaurants very close, no safety concerns in 2 separate stays.
Walkability: See above, very walkable.
Food & drinks: See above, in-house restaurant plus walkable to other eating places. Also walkable to grocery store.”

The women that work there are about as friendly as constantina wire. I don't mind, but if you have a problem being treated like you're a waste of time you might not like it.”

“We attended the Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet at the Gamble Farm yesterday. I have no words to express how great the food was and the staff was absolutely amazing! So quick to help us out and refill our drinks. I want to especially thank the new owners for their perseverance in making the Gamble Farm Inn one of the best places to eat in the area. Thank you for a very memorable Thanksgiving for us.”
“Stayed here for one night. We were originally placed on the first floor which is not a preference so we were moved. The room I was put in on the 3rd floor was clean and smelled nice. I slept so good after a long day in the car. The next morning I got up and enjoyed some coffee and quiche on the nicely stocked breakfast bar. Along with some delightful conversation with the nice lady tending to it and another employee who I believe was a nighttime front desk. I would stay here again if I found myself in the area.”

“Needed a place to rest up while passing through. I had booked ahead, but for the wrong night. I showed up and figured I'd be stuck paying for an additional night but the proprietor was sympathetic and didn't charge me. That was a lifesaver bc I was exhausted and low on travel funds. The property looks a little shabby but the rooms are clean and have just what you need.”

“This was our 3rd time staying with Grandview, and honestly we love it! Now every time we come back to our hometown to visit family this is our first choice! Lisa is always amazing and goes above and beyond with our reservations, the price is surprisingly affordable considering how clean the rooms are and the fact it’s like little apartments with full kitchens everything you need to prepare a meal, to me that’s bonus points because we save money on eating out! The view and location is just so peaceful nothing like waking up to the view of a river to drink your morning coffee, the location gives you easy access to Williamsport, and the surrounding areas! Mandie the housekeeper always goes above and beyond to make sure your comfortable and have everything you need! We have never had a single problem or issue at this hotel! So if you need a peaceful comfortable, clean place to stay this is the perfect place!”
