“My husband and I had the most incredible wedding day at Philander Chase Knox Estate in June of 2025! The venue is absolutely beautiful with the most scenic backdrop, nestled in Valley Forge National Park. The tent provided an incredible open and airy space to celebrate with all of our loved ones. The valet parking was perfect for guest parking and the staff was incredible. We could not recommend Philander Chase Knox Estate enough!”
“We were so incredibly happy with everything on our wedding day. Everyone at Franklin Commons and Drexelbrook were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond in making our day special. The venue, food, and cocktails are still being raved about every time we talk with someone who was at the wedding. Everyone was so attentive to our needs and wants, especially Valentina. Working with both Kim and Hannah felt more like being with family then a strictly professional relationship, which was so important for us when choosing vendors. I am so glad we met Hannah at the wedding expo and will forever recommend Franklin Commons and Drexelbrook!”
“cool historical site / museum with community pop up events, and hiking trails. Pictured is my artwork in their November Fine Art and Crafts Show, Featuring regional artists.”
“I have photographed many lovely weddings at the Duportail House in Chesterbrook, PA. This property is gorgeous for a wedding! Perfect backdrops for photography include an old barn, a porch with ornate fencing, a bridge with a creek, old trees, and manicured gardens. You step back in time in this 1740 farmhouse. The bride and groom had their cocktail hour before the ceremony, and then the ceremony behind the old barn. The light swept across the barn perfectly and was stunning on the bride's face during their vows. This charming venue is run efficiently and is a historical treasure. Perfect for an intimate wedding!”
“The membership is superfun, the food is outstanding, the course has been updated, and growing in nicely. If you want a friendly atmosphere, good competitive golf, great meal(there is nothing on the menu that isn't delicious, and ability to stop in without notice, this is a great choice.”
“Absolutely gorgeous location. The venue coordinator was lovely to work with, and there are so many beautiful historic touches that make this spot so elegant. I love that the groom's suite is just as lovely as the bridal suite! I find that some venues do a beautiful job creating a bridal suite, and the grooms kind of get stuck in a broom closet, which especially doesn't work when you have two brides who need equal amounts of space to get ready. But this venue did a great job of giving both parties beautiful spacious locations to get ready.
The ceremony spot this particular couple chose is definitely a hike for guests, but if you have a guest list who can navigate a short walk, it's definitely worth it for its gorgeous ruins. I'd love to photograph here again!”
“Just passing through the area for an impromptu road trip and had to stop here because the building looked so historical and interesting from the outside— was greeted by Nancy, absolute doll thank you for the water— and spent a good hour at the least perusing this wonderful gallery/store/art center, there are about 60+ shops featuring local artisans, left with a little of everyone’s work, everything was well-priced and affordable which is hard to find with artisan shops now. Thank you Gabrielle for answering my questions about the history of this building, it used to be an inn and pub and was separated into the fine dining area for those with a higher budget and local fare in the lower level. Wealthier visitors would then ski at Spring Mountain nearby. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area, absolute gem!!”
“My wife and I have attended about a dozen band concerts over the past year. Good venue for live music. Downstairs area is a separate, beautiful room for private parties.
Would suggest taking seat cushions for your chairs for concerts over 1 1/2 hours. Alcohol and soft drinks at bar area. Food can be brought in or ordered from nearby restaurants.

“My husband and I recently got married on 11/29/25 at Bella Vista, everyone was so detail oriented, caring, and by your side throughout the whole process. The food was absolutely amazing and we got so many compliments on the d'oeuvres and the main entrees. The venue is such a beautiful place to get married at, it truly is a blend of rustic beauty and simple elegance. Jenny was my bridal assistant and she walked me through every step. She paid attention to everything and eased my jittery nerves throughout the day. Jenny absolutely made our night easier and she took care of all the little details you wouldn't even think about! Thank you to EVERYONE at Bella Vista who made our day seamless and unforgettable! :)”
“I met my Spring Hollow Golf league friends for Brunch today.
As always, the food was delicious.
We started by sharing the Creme Brule French Toast. It was fantastic.
3 of us had the Tempura Fried Eggs.
They are a perfectly cooked soft egg, then it is dipped in a Tempura batter and fried. When you cut into them the yolk is still perfect, they are served over a Tomato, Braised Leek Herb Cream Sauce. They are delicious.
The other two ladies had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Classic Eggs Benedict which they both enjoyed.
All of us enjoyed the Mimosas.
If you haven't been here, you have to try it. You won't be disappointed whether it is Brunch, Lunch or Dinner.”

“We held my daughter’s bridal shower in the Eagle Room this weekend and it was perfect! The space was perfect for the size of our party and I received compliments from everyone on the delicious food- we had the brunch menu. Christopher made everything easy to plan and was very accommodating especially when we were decorating. I highly recommend!!”
“Short answer: top notch everything!
Long answer: I have autism, to them it ain’t an issue! It was the kindest place I’d ever been. Super fun, and a blast!”
“I haven't seen smoking bars since pre COVID but walking into this place for the first time to see a metal show and seeing I could have a drink and smoke a cigarette while watching the Phil's between bands was one of my highlights of this past year. Long live the Polish club ??????”

“I, and 9 other teachers took 42 kids here on a field trip and it was absolutely wonderful. The employees were amazing, especially the manager Ryan. He was so patient with our large group and ensured we had a safe and fun experience. I would definitely be returning.”
