Kennie's Market is a local store that has been a staple for many years. It has a very good selection, with everything you would need food wise, including a pretty good bakery. The deli counter has a great selection of homemade salads and choices, with very helpful staff. The store is very clean and the employees and cashiers are friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Prices are a little higher than larger stores, as you are paying for convenience. Some prices are a little high, and shopping there for all groceries can be expensive, though they sometimes have deals. Staffing can be an issue, with sometimes long waits at the regular checkout and a reliance on self-checkout, which some customers dislike. However, others note you usually don't have to wait in line very long. The store employs many local teens and senior citizens, which is good for the community. Customers recommend watching what you buy but praise items like the store-made, incredible, soft, huge, and delicious cookies.

First time ever visiting littlestown kennies but is similar to Gettysburg and biglervilles. I always choose kennies over large grocery chains for our family of 8.
