“I exclusively bring my animals here to see Dr. Dill. I first brought my rabbits to him years ago for them to be fixed. They were so reasonable on pricing and gave me critical care and meds and clear instructions. They are great about communicating. Now I bring my two rescue doggos here and Dr. Dill does a great job examining them and making recommendations. All of the staff are always so nice - they loved holding Toffee and Cupid after their surgeries and everyone loved Peaches yesterday when I brought her in for her wellness exam. I will be coming here for as long as I have animals and they're open, no matter how far the drive”

“After 5 years with Happy Tails, we won't take our pets anywhere else. Even since we moved from Lancaster to Elizabethtown we have no desire to switch our vet. Every single member of the staff rises to the same standard of care making visits a relief even when our pets are unwell. We always receive eye contact and a smile from everyone we pass. Just knowing that they're on the case gives us the peace of mind that we're giving our cats their best chance.
We now have been through 2 surgeries with them and their level of attention and care is unmatched. From follow-up phone calls to keeping our pets on their minds they empathize at every step. The most recent surgery for bladder stones was urgent and they went out of their way to move the procedure 2 weeks earlier because they knew that the local 24/7 emergency pet hospital was financially out of reach for us (luckily doing so was possible for their schedule in this case).
The estimates are clear (and affordable), their suggestions are thorough, and they never rush our time there.
Getting in touch is easy. I'm always full of questions and what-ifs and the time they take to cover each and every one of them without a hint of annoyance or impatience is a testament to the depth of their unwavering and personalized support. It extends from in person visits to requests via email and phone. They make sure that they are accessible.
We have had the pleasure of attending appointments with all 3 of their veterinarians and you can't go wrong with any of them. They are knowledgeable, kind, equipped to handle a variety of situations, and considerate of our pets' feelings (as well as ours). This has made it especially easy to receive last minute care for ailments that come up and their system includes notes leaving us feeling confident that nothing will be missed from doctor to doctor.
They truly go above and beyond making it easy to build trust. We are fortunate to be a part of their circle.”

“I tried this vet because my normal couldn't get me in as quickly as I needed and I was not disappointed and would recommend and return. This appointment was for my crested gecko which was recently rescued and had laid eggs and had babies. I called on a Friday and they got me in later the same day.
One thing I really noticed about this vet is I never once felt like they just wanted my money. On the phone right away it was just concern for my reptile and the receptionist already had experience with them so that was a plus. My usual vet still asks me for money up front and I've been going there for years. Lincoln highway only asked for payment after the appointment was done and over with and my geckos were looked over. And the price was literally less than half of what my usual vet wanted to charge me. So I'm very satisfied there.
The staff was great. Everyone was friendly. Doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. The place itself I felt was very comfortable. If they were closer to me I'd be seeing them more, though that is obviously out of their control.”
“This was our first time visit to this vca hospital. We rescued a shelter dog and naturally she was a bit nervous. But from the front desk, to the assistants to Dr. Jon, everyone was very nice and sadie, our dog was great. I have no problem returning here this week for her influenza vaccine and all other visits!”

“Wonderful, attentive staff. I never feel rushed through the appointment and they actively listen to any comments or concerns regarding our pets. It is a little expensive, but I also consider the vaccines and overhead it takes to operate an animal hospital. (divide that fee into 12 months for protection and care!) Very friendly staff.”

“I have been taking my pups to them for over 15 years. My current crew consists of five rescues, three seniors and two younger guys. The seniors each have medical issues that need cared for on a regular basis. The vet and the staff are amazing and have pulled more than one from the brink of death. Dr. Purvis has a vast knowledge of health care and is willing to work with me to keep them healthy. I enjoy adopting seniors and they generally come with medical challenges. They have always made time to get me in when something crops up and spend whatever time is needed until a plan is formulated. And they are very supportive when I call and say I don’t know what’s wrong but something is going on. They listen, diagnose and help me understand the treatment plan. And when that time comes for them to cross the rainbow bridge they make it the best experience possible. Dr. Purvis and her staff are an amazing team of healthcare professionals and all around great people.”

“When every veterinarian was turning people away during Covid, Apple Creek opened their doors to Paige and I. Paige was already on the back end of life when we started going there. They have been nothing but loving and welcoming to us. When Paige was dying and needed medicine I could barely afford, they worked with me without me feeling judged. Paige ended up passing away 24 hrs after Thanksgiving. Within 8 hours of me emailing them, they had sent me flowers. They worked with me and my issues using the phone without hesitation. They showed love and support when I needed it the most. As I am now leaving the state, I made it a point that my last place to be will be getting my new dogs shots boostered. If you need someone to care for your pets, through my experiences, Apple Creek is hard to beat. Thank you staff for everything!!”

We had an amazing experience at Pet Day Surgery. This was our second FEMALE CAT spay surgery with them, and both experiences were awesome. We were very nervous about how our cat would act after the anesthesia, but neither cat was nauseous and neither threw up—not even once. The recovery went incredibly well. No medications were needed after surgery, the incision never leaked or bled, and it looked very clean and straight. By the second day, our cat was already jumping and acting like herself again. We tried to stop her from jumping, but since she is still a very young kitten (about 4–5 months old), it was almost impossible. We are truly grateful to the doctor for such excellent, professional care. Highly recommend!”
