“This is our go-to place when visiting family nearby. Always decorated for the holidays. Lobby and dining area clean as could be. Has a small gym with all the basics. Pool seems good, but we haven't used it. We wanted the hot tub, but our last 2 visits, it wasn't working. A little more expensive than a nearby hotel but worth it if you want to enjoy the hotel more than just a place to sleep.Rooms: Light and airyWalkability: Can walk to food and even some stores if you like a short walk. Not many sidewalks but all "across" the street.Food & drinks: Breakfast is plentiful and stays open a decent amount of time.”

“Mattie is the bomb, made my whole morning work by helping me get a taxi and navigate the area. Was super happy to help even tho the lobby was very busy. 10/10 was hesitant about staying again but now i will whenever im in town.Nearby activities: Park nearby with water stuff and two jungle gyms. Lots of hiking. "The gourmet" down the street is the bombSafety: Area has crooked cops.Walkability: The town is not walkable. No sidewalks. At all. 4 lanes of traffic constantly moving with no crosswalks.”

“This place is weird. That was my initial reaction upon checking in; what I find weird is the building itself. Room layouts was spacious but a bit strange and the air feels poorly circulated. There was also no decoration in the room and the furniture felt like an afterthought. However the staff is incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and the food at the restaurant is far better than what you usually find in hotel restaurants like this. If I’m in the area again I will stay here.”

“Stayed here for a few nights while visiting my dad in Geisinger. The hotel is a quick and easy 15 minute ride to Geisinger. Room was spacious and comfortable. Free breakfast was great with the options somewhat varied each day. I’d stay here again. ?”

“We stayed for one night and we were very satisfied with the accommodations and service. The room was incredibly clean and well kept, the décor throughout the hotel is contemporary and cozy. Check in and out was a breeze. Kol restaurant had very nice ambiance and terrific service. The food was prompt, correct, well seasoned and served very hot. I would definitely recommend a stay to anyone that is visiting the area.Nearby activities: Husband used the YMCA day pass to use the pool and sauna. It is located just up the road, an easy 5-7 minute walk. The hotel gym was also very nice, clean and well kept.Safety: Carbondale is a sleepy small town, I grew up near here and there is no big crime to speak of really.Walkability: Located on the main drag, there are some small shops and eateries all close by. I recommend grabbing a slice over at Domenick’s.Food & drinks: Kol restaurant had very good service, the beer was served super ice cold, the fireplace was nice as it was rainy and dreary out. The food was excellent.”

“The hotel is very clean and has many nearby locations within walking distance to eat at. Room was very clean and spacious. Morning breakfast was really good and is served at 6:30. My fav was the eggs but potatoes were good also. I recommend this hotel for future stays . Bar is located in Hotel also except it’s closed Sundays and Mondays, so that’s a bummer.Rooms: Microwave and Refrigerator in room. Unable to use video game system on TV unfortunately.Food & drinks: Tullys is right next door with best Chicken Tenders on Earth.”

“This hotel is crisply clean. The coffee service offers cocoa and tea and various creamers and cinnamon/nutmeg add ins all day and night. The staff is pleasant, although you get the feeling that there should be more of them. The elevator floor needed repairs. Breakfast is standard hotel fare - waffles, pre-made eggs, reheated sausage, fruit, yogurt, and carbs cheerfully served. Didn't try the pool, but the exercise room offers a few machines that aren't broken.”
