“Had a great time UNFORTUNATELY most of the best areas for new skiers to learn were closed to ski school students only. Struggled to find safe, easy areas to teach my kids myself instead of paying the high price for lessons. Ate at the cafeteria, cant say we were impressed with the food.”
“One of the best barns in the area in my opinion. This venue has an incredible outdoor space for receptions, that offers a beautiful backdrop of the field with mountains behind, a beautiful place to see the sunset.
The house on-site is one of the best getting ready areas in the area, and offers plenty of space for a large wedding party. The barn is spacious and modern, and is only one of the many areas you’ll find useful on your event day.”

“Stayed 2 nights while attending ski clinic at Whitetail Resort. Room was nice, bed very comfortable. Very convenient to Whitetail Resort.Tomi (proprietor) was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is listed as being available starting at 8. I needed to leave before 8 for my clinic each morning and Tomi served me breakfast at 7:15 each morning.In the past when I have gone to Whitetail I have stayed in chain hotels in Hagerstown but the Inn was around the same price and much more convenient.Slight aside: The dining room was not open the nights I stayed and I went to Stoners Tavern a few blocks away one night. Fish and chips were fabulous and they have around 25 varieties of beer and ale on tap.”
