Whitetail Resort is a great and awesome place for skiing and snowboarding, providing an amazing and unforgettable experience. It is a super organized resort with helpful signs everywhere and a lodge with tons of places to sit, rest, or eat. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive, often going above and beyond. The rental process is organized, the lifts run well, and the slopes are typically in great shape, even with little natural snow. While lines can be long, they are not unmanageable, especially for those who arrive early or buy tickets online to save money and enter faster. It is an excellent and fair deal for a family, being very close without the need for plane tickets or hotel stays. Beginners and seasoned visitors alike can have a really good and fun time on the slopes, making it a truly memorable destination.

Great easy to get to from falls church. About 1.5 hours away. Plenty of space. But was a little pricey. Bring student id if you have for discount.

Had a great time UNFORTUNATELY most of the best areas for new skiers to learn were closed to ski school students only. Struggled to find safe, easy areas to teach my kids myself instead of paying the high price for lessons. Ate at the cafeteria, cant say we were impressed with the food.
