Propane in Mifflintown, PA

“Have had hellers for 6 or more years, called the other day to schedule delivery and asked what price per gallon was, was told 4.19 $ a gallon because we only had one delivery, i then looked online on ai and asked average price of home heating propane in my area, ai said it was now 2.81$ a gallon, called another company and asked for a quote per gallon the same situation one delivery a year they told me $2.89 a gallon call them back at Heller's and ask why we were being charged $1.40 a gallon more than the average price of propane I told them I called around to other companies and I also checked it on AI again told me well we only got one delivery but the other company that didn't matter one delivery it was still $2.89 a gallon So that obviously was not it, person I spoke to then said let's see what we can do for you then came back a couple minutes later and said they would match the price of $ $2.89 a gallon did not get the delivery yet but I'm looking forward to see if the price is what they told me. If the price is any higher than the 289 a gallon they quoted me we will change companies I can't see how a company can charge someone a $1.40 a gallon more than the average local price. So check back in to see what happens but just the fact that they were willing to try to charge me $1.40 a gallon more tells me something about their business character, i just received the price from hellers and they made good on their price of 2.89 a gallon so i am good with that,so since they lived up to their price i will give them 4 stars.”
