“The workers here were very friendly. There was a large selection of Knick knacks and furniture. The prices were great! They offer all items at half price on the last Saturday or each month, which is just a great deal. The selection of clothes was pretty slim at the moment.”

“Country Closet has a great selection of clothes for adults and children. They also have a lot of different items such as kitchen items, toys, and many other things. Reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly. Every time I am in the area, I have to stop. ? this place.”

“I don't know what took me so long to write this review as I was here in May 2020 during Covid when the county I lived in was still in lockdown. There's a campground we like to visit in this general area and after a few trips up this way was happy to have stumbled across this thrift store. Even though I had searched previously for thrift stores for whatever reason it doesn't come up in the search engine. Overall this area is beautiful, but does appear slightly impoverished so I wasn't expecting much as far as name brands, etc. But fortunately I'm not a brand whore and shop for whatever pulls at my heart regardless the name on the label. The store is located in a run down (but probably the largest) shopping plaza in the town of Sunbury. Inside it could have definitely used some tweaking as far as general cleanliness but was organized by dept, items, and loosely by size. Woman's clothing inventory was in abundance and I was happy with the quality and condition I was seeing. In fact I bought a trash bag full of items for myself. The racks were jammed packed and close together. It was difficult to not only social distance but get past someone with a cart. Overall the store was probably at full capacity as far as items it could hold and given the limited amount of thrift stores in this area this location probably gets all the donations for several nearby towns. The staff was pleasant and they even offer their own loyalty card for additional discounts and special days for cardholders. I did have to ask for it after the lady in front of me presented one. Do make sure you ask if not offered (it gave me 50% store wide at another location the next day). So while you may need to shuffle thru and hunt a bit, that's part of the fun. Will definitely go back next time we camp in the area.”

“Probably one of the only Goodwills in Pennsylvania that has really nice bathrooms AND try on rooms.Definitely one of the cleanest and well organized goodwill stores I've ever experienced. Unfortunately some of the pricing is a little questionable. Similar items like nail polish can be anywhere from $1.99 to $5.99 for no reason whatsoever. I picked up a Walmart brand cami that was marked $6.99 which is ridiculous ( especially since it was clearly showing signs of wear, pilling, etc.) . The home decor section was blah and they never a ton of variety at this particular store.  However the womens clothing section is always packed with cool stuff. Didn't find anything too nasty on the racks either.  Which is a first. They definitely sort and keep stained, holey and super worn things off the floor which is incredible and not something a lot of thrift stores ( especially Goodwill)  do. If you're looking for a clean and nice goodwill experience this is definitely one of the best options and a fun stop.”
