“I'm giving a five rating because harbor freight had a very similar item to one in Tractor Supply yet was half the price. I don't know where this tire was manufactured, but the one at Tractor Supply was made in China, so I don't think that was the reason for the difference in price. Also, the bathroom here is so super clean and well thought out. Good job guys.”
“After years of trying to figure out how to get broken craftsman tools replaced I went to this ace hardware store. A young gentleman at the store showed me a scanable code taped to the counter. He scanned it into my cell phone and i went home filled at the form and sent it. Within 15 seconds i had a phone call from craftsman. I read the serial numbers from the tools to the person. Replacement tools are on the way! Thanks!”
“I brought my 10 year old STIHL weed whacker in to have the trimmer head replaced. I called in advance to ensure they could replace the part. I walked in and was immediately assisted by Jeff who took my phone call. It took no more than five minutes to have my equipment serviced. This is by far the best service I’ve received! I always like supporting local business, and Old Mill Pine is certainly a place I will be visiting again.”
“This is a smaller store than a Lowe's or a home depot.But that's why I like it.The prices are better and because it's not that big... staff is always willing to help and is looking to see if they can help someone. Some of them know the store, so well You can ask someone as you walk in.You can say do you have this or that? Many can tell you before you even spend 20 min. searching for it. Nice collection of merchandise thoughtfully displayed and organized.”

“Many stores are becoming a thing of the past. Everyone is leaning towards online. This is a store that I feel that people tend to forget about. They have reasonable prices and honestly when it comes to the meat department, have very good quality meats. You can go elsewhere and get hamburger ,steaks or what have you that are close to date but they have fresh meats that are picture perfect plus many items that are top quality. At the least give them a look.”
“Always had good experiences here. This truly was a mom & pop store. They are closing to retire. Unfortunately, the franchise cannot be sold to another entity without being relocated. Such a terrible shame because this location was so convenient & had plenty of parking available.”

“I was here for the first time yesterday. I had placed an order online for pool sand. I pulled up and was disappointed to see there was no "order pickup" area. Parking was easy, so I went ahead into the store. Pickup was easy, and they even brought the sand out and put it in my van. I was worried because I'm not able to lift and carry anything heavy. They assisted without me even having to ask. Excellent service. Will definitely be back.”
“Purchased a Toro zero-turn riding mower and Scranton Grinder was the dealer it was shipped to for assembly. They assembled and delivered the mower 2 days earlier than expected and did a great job on the assembly. I've heard horror stories about people receiving mowers assembled by big-box home improvement stores and chose to shop (semi) local instead. Delivery was good and the gentleman gave us a tutorial and watched us both drive to make sure we were comfortable and had no questions. I will definitely be using them if future needs arise!”

“I visited the APR store early morning on January 21st due to the igniter on my central air was broken. It was -2 degrees outside and I have a 10 month old baby at home and a wife who works from home. My house was 56 degrees ?. The guys behind the counter, Chris and another gentleman were able to match up the exact part for me and I was on my way home in less than 5 minutes. Thank you guys for the outstanding customer service !!”

“I ordered several items on june 29 that were not all in stock,at the dickson city store. The items sat in maryland for three days and are now sitting in pittston pa. With an estimated delivery date of july 8. No one will find out what the problem is. I call and they just tell me july 8 and they cannot call warehouse and find out why it will be sitting in pittston for 8 more days. Cant beat Amazon

“It has everything, well almost everything they don't have pets but I have just about everything you need to complete a project or they can complete the project for you if you ask them to install your patio Roofing Windows Etc. But when you go please give them a shout out, a lot of these people have been working since the beginning of the pandemic oh, they were on the front lines they were essential workers and they don't get the recognition they truly deserve. So when you shop there please thank the store clerks cashiers even people at the return desk thank them for being there through this whole pandemic. People don't realize how valuable they are cuz think about it if they had to close the store where would you go to get items to fix your toilet? Or if your hot water heater blew where were you going to buy one? Thank you Lowe's for being there when we needed you the most”

“The staff is always friendly and helpful. I stopped in for 2 propane tank refills for the Memorial Day holiday and the process was quick. $9.99 for each tank.
The store is big and well stocked and the staff knows where items are when asked.
Much easier than the orange and blue big box stores.”
