“You can judge a store when you have gone through a complex tangled mess with them, and still have a good experience. I bought a highly coveted patagonia jacket from their online store, but the last jacket in size M had been sold on the floor right as I purchased it online. After using the wrong credit card, a new jacket in size L, two credit card charges that couldn't be refunded -- I have to say they were incredibly professional and responsive. The least I can do is write a glowing review because not every store has good customer service, that are able to follow the tangled thread that ended up with my purchase and still leave a good impression on me. I will be shopping here online again.”

“I've been shopping at Wardrobe for the last 5 years, and Jonathan has really helped me shape up my wardrobe. I've been so happy with the compliments I've gotten that I've taken several friends there and they have all had extremely positive experiences as well. One of my friends is 5'9" and athletic build - and that means pants and sleeves are usually too short - but not here! Another friend is 4'11" and super petite, and again Jonathan has worked miracles to find them clothing that fits off the rack with little to no tailoring needed. Additionally, most of his brands are not available in malls, and many are made in the USA or Canada, not cheap imported stuff.During Covid I've been shopping online at Wardrobe, or calling Jonathan and having him send out gifts to friends and family for me. I miss going into the store, but appreciate having Jonathan send out my gifts for me.”

“Love this shop! I moved from Philly to Bryn Mawr and was excited to have a trendy thrift store with parking 3 minutes from my house! The music and atmosphere are great and I find it relaxing to browse around every few weeks and see what’s new. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly and the items span basic $3 bin stuff to higher-end name brand…all priced very fairly.I found a dress for my bridal shower, practically brand new high top Vans sneakers, cozy sweaters for winter, dress pants and a top for a holiday party. I have recently become disgruntled with shopping for clothes, finding that quality has become so poor . This boutique is an absolute gem--I walked out with a gorgeous Scottish cashmere sweater, Italian wool jacket and high end jeans, all an amazing fit and highest quality. A couple of the brands were unfamiliar to me, so I looked them up online and was even more impressed when I learned more about these companies. The owner of the shop has a real eye for quality. I honestly can't remember the last time I had this much fun shopping for clothes.”

“I highly recommend Stupp Furs in Haverford. Hal, his staff and family members that work there are all highly professional, friendly and their knowledge of furs and the fur industry is unsurpassed. I took my beautiful fur lined silk coat that was given to me by my mother to Stupp Furs, after being told by several other fur repair shops that the coat was ruined and nothing could be done. Actually the value and condition of the coat wasn’t the greatest and was worsened by sitting at a theater on a seat the had lots of popcorn butter on it, leaving a big stain in the back. Hal was very honest with me regarding being able to make the coat look wearable again. I told him of the sentimental value that it had to me because I remembered my mother wearing the coat. He said he would do everything that he could to see if it could be cleaned and repaired. He also agreed it was a beautiful vintage classic coat. He told me he was going to send it out to their repair shop. Two weeks later he called and said my coat was back and to stop by. When I got there he said they said getting the butter out of the silk was made worst when I tried to clean it off with water before I first took it in. So he said let me think about this. I have so ideas that just might work. So I said try anything, I love my coat. Three months later I received I call to come pick up my beautiful coat! I was so happy. Hal said that’s what we like, to make our clients happy! So I decided to put my coat in storage with them. AND I ALSO FOUND ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CASHMERE COAT WITH FUR ON THE INSIDE TO WHERE THIS COMING WINTER SEASON! What a GREAT PLACE WITH Impeccable, customer service, and more!A.G. Fletcher”
