“I wanted to recognize the cashier, Doris, who checked me out on Saturday morning 12/20. She was very sweet and cheerful, not only to me, but to everyone else in line, and she went out of her way to make sure the paints I was purchasing had their lids closed tightly. She separated every item by type in my bags too, which shows she was being extra thoughtful. Doris should teach a class on customer service!”
“Needed a specific color ornament to match ones i got a few years ago. An employee Danny I believe very nicely helped me get them from a box that had not been opened yet! Not only was I greeted in a friendly manner but I was personally walked to the one item I needed for my teachers gift specifically. The worker went above and beyond for me. I wasn’t late to work and it truly felt nice to converse with someone who seemed to really enjoy being there.
Usually at other dolllar generals it’s a cold shoulder received. I felt compelled to write this as no one answered the phone when I called. I wanted to express how amazing your AM shift employee was this morning. I believe his name was Elisha as my receipt says.”

“I really like shopping at Dollar General but there are items here and there that you can actually get cheaper elsewhere. Also a lot of their items are not in stock half of the time. Although, since they have remodeled it has been a bit better with keeping things stocked.”
