“This was my 1st time here. They have a nice selection of pet treats, toys and first aid. I needed styptic powder for my dogs chipped nail. They had a few different options and for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly.”

“I have been shopping at Village Pet since Brenda opened started shopping in the Hanover Township store since they closed. I work near the Luzerne store. The people that work there are incredible. They’re super nice friendly and my schnauzer absolutely loves his skinny minis. I get them all the time they’re usually always in stock. I wish people knew how bad treats are in grocery stores and other places most treats have corn wheat and soy in them, which most dogs and cats are allergic to and red dye, which is terrible. I love the fact that everything is made in the United States kudos to Village Pet, staff and owner.”

“I love Valley Dog. My dog goes to daycare, and I use boarding when I am away. Lisa and the employees care for these dogs like they would their own. My dog loves going to daycare and playing with the other dogs. They have certain play groups, dogs aren't just thrown in together. This is so much better than leaving her home alone when I go to work. My last dog had had dementia and I would not been able to take care of him myself. ..... they went above and beyond for him.”

“Purchased a miniature poodle here in June of 2019. Bonnie was the woman who took care of us. It’s been years and I still remember her name because that’s how caring and thoughtful she was. I visited the store multiple times and all the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. My poodle is the most amazing dog. She’s 3 now!”
“My cat Pugsley very much enjoyed his visits here, even though seeing the dogs makes him irrationally angry. He liked visiting the birds to watch and occasionally yell at them. He doesn't get out much, clearly. He's a strictly indoor boy. Great selection of pet foods and toys. My cats went wild for the various freeze dried treats they carry so I made a point to always stop here for treats. The staff are so nice, even when Pugsley was aggressively grumpy one day and screamed at the cashier. I'm so sorry about my rude son. He really does enjoy his visits.”

“Have never had a bad experience my kids absolutely love to see all of the animals. The owner is very knowledgeable and priceses are definitely the best I've seen especially for a facility that has so many animals to care for. As soon as we walk in the store we are always gretted not only by the employees but the beauty that loves to sit on the railing definitely makes my day to see such a great place to not only shop but for my children to see all the amazing animals and learn so much from the staff. My tortoise definitely loves the new home we purchased today she is making herself comfortable.”

“Every time i’m here, the staff is very helpful. The other day my fiancée and i went to get a few things for our 2 new puppies. It is our first time having puppies and training them so we had a lot of questions. 3 different staff members helped us throughout the day and were all amazing. I definitely want to give a special shout out to Holly. We would be lost without her. She ensured us several times its okay to call the store and ask for her to ask any questions we may have. She even helped trim my pups nails. We will definitely be bringing our pups to her training class, she is wonderful!!”
“The owner is wonderful she remembers people. She cut my moms dogs nails and when I got a pup did his too. She had a perfect pup for me when mine died and sent pictures, unfortunately timing was wrong but she’s is not trying to make a sale but to give these perfect babies a good home”
