“We're not from the area but I really wanted to check out a board game store while in Pittsburgh. My husband and I checked this place out and we found it so cool, clean and spacious. Great selection and liked the natural light and the social areas in the front instead of in the back like some other board game stores. Phil gave us the tour and recommended some drinks at the Dragon Roast Cafe. As an apple cider and cinnamon person, his recommendation was spot on. The barista, who I didn't get the name of (sorry!), was also cool and great with making sure we were 100% happy with our drinks. I only wish we had a space like this near where we live as we would definitely go all the time with friends and family. We will definitely return the next time we are in Pittsburgh!”

“I was wondering how old does an autograph have to be to be considered vintage i saw the response from 2 months ago about you guys buying memorabilia so was curious. Would come with matching COA from a major authenticator like PSA, beckett, or JSA. I have alot of autographed memorabilia all certified authentic from different sports, such as Dante hall jerseys and football, lesean Mccoy, Bill "mad dog" Madlock & a few pens jerseys, since we're in pittsburgh and alot more. I'm looking to downsize my collection as I rotate the man cave out depending on the season. The autographs are in great shape (never exposed to direct sunlight and in non humid places).”

“Stopped to check out the new store and it’s adorable. I actually like the smaller place, less walking but I feel like it’s not missing anything. Somebody definitely has an artistic vision and it shows. The place looks great! I see others talking about the lack of cafe, coming soon, they will be having a cafe right next door I believe. All is good. I thought all the people were really nice and knowledgeable the day I went. Most places employees don’t have very good customer service skills these days, this place DOES have pretty decent employees from what I saw. Love it!”
“I have been coming to this place since I was a little kid to buy Pokemon cards, my father use to bring me here after work. The same guy John has been here forever very knowledgeable on anything card related. Gives me that mom and pop store vibe witch is very nice in today's society. After all these years I came back to buy more Pokemon and not only did he have what I was looking for but his selection is amazing, and very reasonable. As I was buying my cards I was very surprised he remembered my dad I didn't think he would remember me let alone my dad who passed 3yrs ago. Everytime I come in here I feel at home I never feel ripped off and I always find a great conversation. I highly recommend this place for any serious collector. Good things don't come easy he's only there Saturday and Monday but it's proof that rare things are always a great find. “I arrived at 9:00a sharp when they opened to have a historical item framed. Special framing was required. I pressed the buzzer thing at that department 3-4 times, but no one came to assist me. The framing person finally arrived at 9:15.All was forgiven because he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful with optional ideas. Bottom line, 15 minutes wasn't the end of the world for me and was well worth the wait.”

“This one at the waterfront seems to have a good selection of yarns, paints, frames and canvas. The clearance isle is always overflowing. People in Pittsburgh aren't crafty. We just pretend and forget. So there is always a huge selection of things down there.”
