“I am happy to give a five star review to this excellent storage business. From my first contact to my last visit, the customer service at this establishment is gold standard. After I secured my unit I received a call from Cindy welcoming me to Guardian, which I felt was an added bonus not usually experienced. Then I received the best assistance from James, who not only processed my account, but walked me to my unit and answered my questions, which meant a lot. Receiving a welcome bag and a free heavy duty lock was an unexpected pleasure, and secured my good feeling about this business. The place is easily accessible, extremely clean, utility carts at the doorway in the loading dock making moving in easy. The office is welcoming and I watched the same courtesy that I experienced extended to another customer who was securing a unit. James actually walked him up to where I had my unit, and discussed his needs in getting a bigger one after seeing the small one. I am impressed by the level of service, and while some would say that they are just doing their jobs, I would say they made it easy get what was needed with attention to my details in a kind and courteous manner, not often seen nowadays. Here's my advice....try this place when you need storage, and you will not be disappointed!”

“Facility was always clean. My only complaints in the 3 years I had a unit was the chat function didn’t always work and that their office closed at 5:30 and I couldn’t get there from work prior to 6. It would be nice if one day a week someone was there later.”

“Fair pricing and convenient location. It's a 2 level facility with outdoor units as well. I appreciate the 24 hour access and indoor units! It's a very secure building and they offer carts and an elevator for transport of your belongings.”
“Oh my goodness, Sam is the most amazing and accommodating business owner. We needed to rent a unit quickly for our daughter (we are out of state) and he took care of everything. His prices are extremely fair and he had multiple options for units. He was professional, prompt, and caring. We knew our daughter would be in good hands with Sam. His unit was clean and had a large amount of area to traverse being able to load and unload. What a relief to have met him, we knew our daughter would be taken care of.”
“They are a good size with a light and average rent. I had mine for 6 months and the cost is causing me not to be able to afford an apartment or home to live in. It does add up especially with extra charges add later. But the owner is nice and Rich. I help that as I am still homeless at 69 and lived with my service animal in my car in a very, very cold winter.”

“This location is well kept, very clean and very friendly employees. Lots of space and just a very safe storage facility. There are multiple entrances (most are car accessible) that allow easy access in and out of the building.

“Salem self storage has very reasonable rates. They only have certain hours you can access the units because they have a locked gate, it might possibly be a problem for some people but they have weekend hours also.”

We had not realized our auto-payments from my checking account expired at one point and the owner allowed us to get paid up current without any penalties despite being 2 months late. We definitely would use RHSS again for our storage needs. Thank you!”
“The process was simple. The woman who waited on me was very friendly. However, I had to choose a more expensive truck due to lack of availability of the smaller ones. I also feel the cost of the millage was expensive and if I had a longer travel the bill could have been out of control. I only needed to move a mattress with in a 10 mile radius from the store to my house then the old one for the trash. I also felt pressured to buy the insurance. It was said that any damage I would cause to the vehicle would come out of my pocket prior to my auto insurance. I’m a safe driver and felt nothing bad would happen, but I was afraid I would be accused of any pre-existing damage found if I did purchase this extra insurance.”
