“We had the best stay at the Manor! The owners were accommodating to a time constraint we had due to travel. We were able to check in seamlessly. The room was spotless (cleaner than most hotels I've been in recently) with maybe the most comfortable bed in the entire world? The rain shower was also a big hit! Would never hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone.”

“Words can’t even begin to describe how gorgeous and perfect this venue!! It is like a little slice of heaven and I promise, you will not want to leave. It is peaceful and quiet and everyone involved complimented on it. As soon as you get out of your car and walk under the stunning arch way you walk across the little bridge over the babbling stream, you know you’re in a special place. The entire venue is nestled under massive trees as the sunlight peaks through leaves. The half wrap around porch allows you a perfect Birds Eye view of the gorgeous landscaping all over the grounds. Inside the lodge your eyes are drawn to the open ceiling with the beautiful beam work that is covered in tiny twinkle lights. At night, you feel like you’re under a clear sky full of stars. The full kitchen on site is such a great feature that few venues offer and it makes serving/catering an absolute breeze! We have used this venue several times and can’t say enough. Each experience has been better than the last. Dave and Suzie are so sweet and easy to work with too!! If you love the country and nature this is the PERFECT venue for you.”
“Absolutely wonderful museum! I really enjoyed the "War of Firsts" series throughout each room, explaining many things that had never before been seen or used in combat. The gift shop has a lot of unique items for history buffs. The view from outside and the walkway along the edge are beautiful! This is one of the best museums I've toured, and that's a lot.”
“Amber Martz was our wedding coordinator when we married at Stocks on 10/5/2024 and I can't tell you how many people said how AMAZING SHE WAS (not just me and my husband!) She did EVERYTHING. Communication from the beginning was fabulous whether it was email, text, or calls... but on the day of... WE COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR MORE! She was there bright and early, set up EVERYTHING, made sure our bridal party had everything we needed, catered to me and my husband, even took on a babysitting role for our kids and my sister's baby when they needed a moment in the middle of a long day. Don't let me forget, the amount of tear down she did at the end of the night was like a magic trick. Everything was all packed and cleaned up for us. She met us the morning after to make sure we had all our leftovers and decorations. Seriously, Amber... all of my family, bridal party, groomsmen party.. we all went home raving about how awesome you did, how spectacular you were, and how thankful we were to have you helping us on our special day. You were the BEST!”
“Great place for both the sports ( Tennis and Golf).They do have both Har thru and hard tennis courts. The Golf Club is Huge too.They did set up a nice bar and restaurant both inside and outside. Overall the ambience is nice,neat and clean. We enjoyed the facility for watching a tennis tournament match. Staff is very nice and smiling.”

“Very happy Metropolis has been open again. Hannah and Richard are so unique and focused, they are HUGELY responsible for breathing life back into an area that was fading away. Besides the excellent quality of every piece in the gallery, you can find handmade jewelry, accessories and eye catching creations showcased by local artists. Oooh, and don't forget the bands!! Live music that sounds good! Something about the area where the stage is.. great acoustics. Maybe I'll see you there!”

“We had the pleasure of attending a beautiful wedding here. The site accommodated a very large crowd, large tent and plenty of seating. We did not decide to camp on site but think next time we would be back camping would definitely be on the list of things to do.This location had a pool but was not opened at the time of us being there.Playground: They had a small swing set for the kids.Restrooms: Restrooms were normal camping style, separate bathhouse with restrooms attached.Dog-friendliness: Pets were welcome, we only had one dog in our group but didn't seem to have any issue.Picnic area: Large picnic area, covered pavilion with indoor seating as well.”

“We attended a wedding here and we're pretty impressed! Sitting right on the Susquehanna river this venue has a nice outside area with plenty of gorgeous backdrops for photo ops. The downstairs has several rooms that can be set up for various purposes. The second floor has a nice sized dining room/dance hall with a large window at one end which gives a good view over the river. It's definitely a nice place to hold an event.”

Extremely kind and efficient even though WE were tired and upset at the situation. She has great customer service and is manager material in my opinion. The family we were traveling with booked a different Candlewood suites in the area. Nila went above and beyond to make sure we were all together. If that’s not superior customer service I don’t know what is. Thank so much again Nila !!”
“The staff was great. Our mom was not feeling well from the drive when we got there. Ms. Noel changed our room closer to the elevator so she would not have to walk as far. Derrick even went as far as loading our luggage into the car. Top notch place to stay.

“The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place seemed clean and didnt have unpleasant odor. I was expecting hot tub, but it and the pool were broken. the fire alarms on the 2nd floor went off around 10 pm, everybody went down to lobby and it was a false alarm. Apparently this had been happening for several nights in a row and guests were concerned. Since these are kitchenettes someone could be cooking. Reasonable. The weird part was around 1 AM the light under the microwave went on by itself. Neither my husband nor myself had turned it on. The light went off again by itself while we were sleeping. No reasonable explanation because nothing else was affected...management have a clue?”
