Jackson Farms Dairy is a fun stop on Route 40, a gas station, ice cream stop, and grocery store. It is known for its good ice cream, excellent potato salad, and great home-cooked hot bar at reasonable prices. At Christmas, they have the best egg nog. The business offers a wide selection of farm-produced and Amish items, including peanut butter fudge. The employees are very nice and caring. It is a great place to visit when driving through the countryside.

    Great ice cream including my favorite Orange Pineapple in a waffle cone or cup. Baked goods too. Update under new ownership and seems smaller portions and less selection.

    Excellent local ice cream! Great breakfast options, and a cozy dining room in the back with a stunning view of Appalachian farmland.
