I had an awful experience at the salon. I would not go back or recommend it. They called me to move my appointment time because they were running behind. I had made my appointment weeks in advance. I arrived on time and they still weren’t ready to take me. They were juggling me between two different hairstylists. I was only there to get my hair washed and blown out and it took hours. I was late to my event. I called to talk to the manager and they said they would call me back and they didn’t. Definitely terrible service.

What can I say but wow! I booked an appointment with Gina for a haircut. It had been over a year since my last one. I have had issues finding a stylist that I liked. Gina did a fantastic job with my hair, adding fresh layers and giving it more depth. I received so many compliments that I will for sure be coming back to see her soon.

I had the pleasure of getting a hair treatment from Jessiah Garnett, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! She used Cécred products on my hair, and wow — my hair has never felt this healthy, clean, and refreshed. The difference was immediate — soft, hydrated strands with a shine that actually lasted.
Jessiah was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience super comfortable and relaxing. She walked me through the process and explained the benefits of each product she used, which made me feel confident I was in good hands. The vibe was peaceful, and the attention to detail was top-tier.
Highly recommend booking with her if you’re looking to bring your hair back to life — 10/10 service!

This five star review is regarding an incredible cosmetician who I met when I stopped in at Ulta because I had a question about eyeliner. I was so fortunate to be introduced to Joanne.Greenhalgh! In her I found an incredibly skilled and talented woman with deep expertise in not only products like Chanel, but in the business. I’ve spoken to countless women who work at cosmetic counters in department stores, over the years yet I’ve never met anyone as knowledgeable as Joanne. She doesn’t push for any product to be sold. She takes her time. She’s patient and shares her knowledge. She’s also an authentic and delightful person to work with. This was a great hire on the part of Ulta Newtown Square.

Joanne at the Newtown Square location helped me color match new concealer perfectly! I was having a rosacea flare up and she recommended some products that wouldn’t aggravate it further. 5/5 experience and will definitely look for her assistance again when I come back.

. If a customer doesn’t want to put their number in then don’t give them an attitude about it. I’m making a 60$ purchase on 1 bottle of shampoo and I said “I’m okay with no points, I just want to buy the shampoo.” But was giving some little child defiant attitude and my product practically tossed at me after purchase. Tell your girls at the registers to have better customer service skills and respect a customers choice.

I am very pleased with my experience at the Newtown Square Ulta. I haven't been using cosmetics for a long time (due to good skin quality) and the woman who is in charge of Clinique was patient and extremely helpful. I will be sure to return to her for help with my next purchase. Thanks Ulta!

Made an appointment for the Salon at Ulta Beauty Newtown Square and from the moment I walked in everyone who i spoke with were warm and welcoming. I was nervous for my appointment because i was going in for a bit of a transformation and Destenee walked me through every thing from explaining the process at the beginning, answering all questions I had and just generally being a warm, kind and friendly person. Her and her manager Jocelyn (I hope im spelling that right) were both so amazing and sweet and truthfully made all my nerves melt away. They make you feel like you’ve been coming to this salon for years! I loved my experience with the both of them and will be coming back and absolutely recommending them to anyone with any anxiety about salon experiences. You can tell these women are true girls girls and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you Destenee and Jocelyn.

I want to rave about Joanne in the Chanel department. What a resume she has with Chanel and we are so so fortunate to have her at our location!! Joanne is the most amazing makeup artist around. She is beyond gifted with makeup. I have had many professional makeup sessions since I am not very skilled myself. No one, and I do mean no one can make someone look better. ( FYI I have gone to some unbelievably talented people) All my friends were AMAZED at how good I looked!! They all planned on stopping in to see Joanne!! And for the record the store is beautiful, and good help is really really hard to find. Joanne is a GEM.
