I worked with Steve and he and the team kept me informed and picked up one piece of furniture in one state and within a week, we had the piece in our home in another state. My wife and I are in the middle of our PCS from JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and we were assigned Reads Moving Systems for our pack-out.
The crew showed up right on time at 0800, introduced themselves, walked through the house with us, and got straight to work.
The biggest relief was that they actually asked questions instead of making assumptions. They wanted to make sure they understood exactly what should and shouldn't be packed, which immediately gave us confidence.
They worked incredibly fast, but never at the expense of quality. My wife and I were honestly amazed at how carefully everything was wrapped, how organized they kept the boxes, and the attention they gave to protecting our belongings.
One thing that really stood out was how considerate they were of our newborn daughter. They noticed when she was sleeping and intentionally worked on the opposite side of the house to keep the noise down as much as possible. It wasn't something we asked them to do—it was simply a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us as new parents.
They absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Jay, James, Colin and Lee worked efficiently and cheerfully under these challenging conditions. All our possessions arrived intact and undamaged. However, I was very disappointed to receive an unexpected $214 charge for setting two TVs back on the same stands they removed them from but customer service acted promptly and I got a refund for that extra expense. The company handle the issue very professionally with great customer service and support.”
