5 o’clock on a Friday and there’s only 2 registers open. Line wrapping around the store. I should charge for my time waiting in line to pay.

This particular giant store delivers some of the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. On my many occasions I have felt like I’m bothering people that are there to do a their job at their selected place of employment. I had a $25 gift certificate from my job that I was unable to use to purchase my grocery items. I have used this type of certificate before at other giants without an issue. This giant always makes a big production about me using it. They behave as if the $25 is coming out of their pockets. The manager on duty, Clint was so non caring and inconsiderate when I attempted to explain how the certificate is used. With the price of groceries nowadays every little bit of help counts. I work for a large company that gives these certificates out. Many of my coworkers are able to use their certificates at this very location without a problem. I feel Clint being a manager should know how to properly speak to customers and how to resolve situations. Instead he is dismissive and rude.

It pains me to give a negative review for a local store our family has appreciated for adecade+. Inventory control has been bad for a while, expired products ( weeks/ months past). On most trips, I now typically return several items to the shelf due to being past date (products in every isle). Items are removed from the shelves when customers specifically point them out to employees... Otherwise, the expired products stay on the shelves and get sold to unsuspecting buyers. This lack of inventory control is really disappointing especially with costs being so high . I would expect this from an off-chain discount grocery outlet, not a mainstream, reputable grocery chain. Check all your dates before you leave the store! I truly hope they can turn this around before consumer trust erodes but it seems to be a chronic issue. Otherwise, there are a lot of reasons why I would still like shopping at Giant

Giant used to be my go-to store, but in recent years, their prices have gone up significantly and their products do not match the increase! I once took home a salmon filet (enough to feed 10ppl) which had a 'see by' date of 4 days prior to purchase, yet upon cooking it we were getting a horrible smell. I had check my garbage to ensure it wasn't that. Once the salmon was done cooking it was blaringly obvious to me AND my guests that the smell was the salmon. Super embarrassing and expensive. On two occasions I bought lunch meat for my husband which did not last 4 days before having to throw it away. Same with produce. I have on multiple occasions bought produce, especially Broccoli Rabe and it 'yellows' within 3 days. I do not care to spend $800 a month for TWO people only to have the groceries sour within a few days. I am swearing off Giant for good. Just wanted to post as a warning to anyone thinking they will get fresh food and good quality.

This store is the worst,self checkout machines never work right,they sell discount food that's reduced in price and goes bad,and they cant retain staff always hiring.The people that leave also complain about long hours and not knowing the schedule till Friday very unprofessional

Shopped here because of the self scanning. Could get in and out real quick. But for a while there it was broken more often than not. Now they've gotten rid of it altogether. Back to standing in lines at the registers

They discontinued the self scan guns and had only one register open. No phone scanning app either. Doing self check out is tedious. Is this store trying to drive away business?

Extremely racist staff that hover over you and stare down you and your cart every-time they see an African American person at self checkout. Extremely uncomfortable and degrading experience every-time I come here. I can’t come here without someone heavily watching and monitored me while I’m checking out. Not all black people steal.

The store is ok, but every time I need to use the deli it's an event. Either their kiosks aren't working or they don't have enough people behind the counter. I'm remembering now why I go to Wegmans. I'm going on 25 min now from when I placed the initial order. Sorry giant, this is bad.

This location is better than most of the other Giants in the area; especially in terms of the organic/healthy area towards the back of the store past the produce area. There's more items in general at this store due to being a bigger location. Kristen on the leadership team is excellent dealing with any issues that may arise.
