“Great spot! They offered us sample size tastes to aid in choosing a cider. We ended up going with their classic Archebald's and for me it was the perfect blend of sweet, tart, and slightly fizzy. Also, the cider garden out back was a pleasant surprise and great place for a casual date night. We came in the afternoon before the main crowd. Finally, just have to say the ladies restroom was spotless. Definitely would recommend.”

“So good! I appreciate that they have Arsenal all over the city, but nothing like trying all the variety at the cider house itself. I love the drier stuff and the broken hearts was a winner for me. My partner got a ginger one and that was also delicious. Friendly staff and nice cozy place. Outside was spacious and we were lucky enough to snag a spot by the fire pit. A Pittsburgh must.”
“During the more than a week’s long power outage caused by wind storms when all other retailers were sold out of ice I went to Joe’s beer distributor as a last resort only to find out he was giving away his ice for free when he could have been charging a premium. I tried to pay him and he refused. I don’t drink alcohol but I will always return to Joe’s when i need to buy ice.”

“Wide variety of wines and spirits. Very helpful and friendly staff. Store is clean and well laid out. It's worth taking a look in the clearance section. Good finds at times. The only downside is the parking lot. Too small for the many stores and restaurants in the plaza. Almost impossible to park near the store.”
“A shout out to the hardest working and most philanthropic beer distributor in Western Pennsylvania. They have donated thousands of cans of beer to a nonprofit I volunteer for, this is a great organization. They also carry amazing brews, just every craft brewery that you know and love. They have been in Millvale since 1933, which means they have survived multiple floods and one fire, and still they are loyal to Millvale, which means a lot to that community.”

“This place is a great beer distributor with refrigerated 6-packs, a walk-in cooler, and a surprising amount of domestic/import inventory for the size of the storefront.
They’re located next door to Shop N Save and have plenty of parking.
I was impressed with the amount of German beers in stock, as well as many other great beers at reasonable prices.
The customer service is top notch with friendly staff and a quick checkout process. This is the type of place that makes you feel valued as a customer.
I will definitely be back!”

“They need to allow liquor to be privately sold in Pennsylvania. The state store prices and selection are beyond terrible. I can say that because I've traveled a lot for work and seen the better selection and much better prices across most of America. But not states with blue laws like Pennsylvania. I will say this though, unlike US postal service workers, liquor control board workers are oftentimes happier. I think they appreciate they've got a good job with the good pay unlike the usps people.”
