“Went here for the first time two weeks ago. First of all, there are slushies, and that feeling was equivalent to a kid in a 7-Eleven finding the slushie machine! The gentleman at the check out was very helpful and so kind! Listen, it was a bit intimidating being in a beer distributor and not knowing much about beer (tequila girl). I definitely will be back to check out more options!”

“I can get beer delivered for less than if I picked up at my local shop. Not only that, but the delivery is right on time. I used to work in Reading and shop here. Always great service. Plus this location is iconic. The owner has meticulously maintained the building. Do any of the old timers remember the “Flatiron”? That space was rolled into the distributor and that block is an addition to the neighborhood.”

“My friend and I were looking for Jim Beam Bourbon Cream. We could not find it in any other state store. Cora, the manager, went out of her way to show us where it was. She also helped me find the Pinnacle Whipped Vodka and Ryan Irish Cream. Cora is a wonderful asset to this store. She has a very winning personality and is most friendly and welcoming. Thank you!!”
“The only think is that sometimes the beers that you really want they have but I feel like they should always make sure they have atleast 3 of each in stock because it does become inconvenient”

“Just filled up our stock for St Patty's Day. Shelves were well stocked, store was very clean, both gentlemen on duty were very helpful, very polite. Helps that they are open till 9 pm some nights. Definitely recommend this store for all your needs, they even had something I was told by another store was discontinued!!”

“I went in to buy gifts for my girlfriend's grandfather and his wife for a Christmas party on Friday. I ended up buying a bottle of wine and a bottle of Scotch whiskey. Place was not overly crowded they did ask if you would be so polite to wear masks inside. Not everyone was wearing a mask at least customer wise. I believe I made two good purchases. Cashier was nice and friendly”
“Always have exactly what I want wherever i go there. The shelves are always nicely organized and no matter the staff (there seems to be a new person each time I go there that I've never seen before; I believe they may rotate certain employees between a number of local stores,) they are always pleasant and helpful if needed. Since they have a self checking lotto machine, they automatically get a few more kudos as well bc they become a one stop shop for me. During the "curbside pick up only" timeframe they were even organized by giving me exactly what I reserved via phone. Getting through to put an order in was a bit mundane but that was certainly nothing they could control. They are close to my residence so as long as they continue as they have, I'll choose to go to this location whenever I'm in need/desire of visiting a FWGS store.”

“wine and spirits in Wyomissing is a big store and they carry alot more then some of their other stores . I highly recommend going to this location to find what you need they are fully stocked”

“I recently stopped by here to grab beer and the clerk that day was very kind and answered all my questions and even suggested good brands to try out. I am a very picky person when it comes to drinks and foods, and the guy that helped me that day was knowledgeable enough to suggest good beers that had the ingredients I wanted.”
“Fair prices and pretty good selection. Friendly and helpful staff. I’d prefer beer distributors that are climate controlled though. When temperatures change outside, the temperature of the beer changes and impacts taste, particularly for lagers.”
“I enjoy my visit at the Upland Square all the time. But the store on route100 not so much. I guess they don't to much care for black people cause I visited there twice and each time the white cashier just dropped my change in my hand. The first time my change fell on the floor.”

“This is a nice little local, easy in and out family owned beer store. Accessible via Rt 73 in center of Oley. PA. Long term employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. they're very well stocked at all times. Large selection of beer and other beverages that you would typically find in the local beer store. Ice chest is always full with bags of ice. Highly recommend this place rather than big corporate. Please support your small local businessespecially.”
