Russell Roofing replaced a 2nd floor roof that is under our deck on our row home. This involved removing the deck, ripping the existing roof, replacing rotted substrate, re-pitching the entire roof with crickets, replacing the membrane with EPDM, then re-installing the deck. Their work was excellent in all parts of this complicated job. The company works seamlessly as a team. Could not be happier. Thanks!

Appreciated the excellent work and great communication. Everyone we worked with was professional and helpful. The folks doing the siding work onsite were friendly, efficient, and left the property in great condition. Had high expectations and they were surpassed.

New roof, gutters, and dormer repair on historical house in Philadelphia. Superb work with lovely copper trim and gutter replacement with well-matched half round gutters. Everything was done well with feedback throughout the job. Expensive but well worth the price for quality and professionalism.

Russell Roofing replaced my flat roof and installed covers over the screens on top of my chimney. They did an excellent job removing multiple layers of roofing, getting rid of the old roofing, doing carpentry repairs and installing the new roof. One reason I hired them is because they did an extensive repair on my chimney and replaced the singles on the front of my house several years ago, and the work is still in excellent condition. I have hired other roofers in the past who did a good job, but they went out of business so I couldn't call them when there was a problem. Russell has been doing business a long time, and I like working with them because I know I'll be able to call them in the future if there is a problem.

Russell Roofing did a fantastic job replacing the extensive roofing on our home. From the initial inspection through the completion of the job RR was very professional. They communicated daily and responded to questions or requests immediately. The crew arrived and finished each day on time and left the site spotless. I highly recommend them and will hire them again when it comes time to replace the flat roofs on my home.

I am disappointed in the lack of communication after paying thousands of dollars in deposits for new gutters. We had to ask several times for a start date after paying the deposit on 7/31. They don't answer questions in reasonable timeframes, they don't give you a heads up before sending a man on your property letting themselves through the gate into the backyard (twice), they delayed without communicating, and didn't tell the subcontractors that they delayed so a whole crew showed up but didn't speak any English so none of them would speak to us. Then when we tried to get answers and were understandably frustrated, Chris decided to just cancel the contract and send our deposit back. Overall the project manager Chris and scheduler Jackie ended up being unprofessional, and wasted our time and effort.

Russell Roofing Company did an excellent job installing new shingles and repairing any underlining damage. The larger size gutters are working beautifully. First company to get the pitch correct allowing the water in the gutters to drain properly. Russell Roofing uses quality materials and their crew are very professional. Loved the way they protecting my gardens and really cleaned up the area each day they were present. Thanks given to Matt for doing a fantastic job coordinating everything for us.

It took me about six months to finally commit to this roofing project. Russel Roofing was excellent throughout the entire process, from estimation to handling the permit, being flexible with the project's start date, executing the project, and after-sales.
The job initially involved replacing a steep third-floor roof but was expanded to include installing copper valleys and pointing two chimneys.
The four-day job crew consisted of three roofers and an on-site supervisor. The crew was very informative and accommodating to the change requests, and were on site for 10-12 hours each day. I viewed one of the roofers fabricating the Copper Valley, which demonstrated the necessary skills.
One side of the house was inaccessible to ladders, which was a concern. The crew demonstrated superb skill in scaling the inaccessible side of the roof by walking over the roof’s peak while carrying 50-pound bags of shingles. They did their best to avoid getting waste material and old shingles into the neighbors’ yard. The roofers also went above and beyond cleaning and re-pitching the gutters.
Overall, I am thrilled with how this job turned out. Although it is undoubtedly the most expensive home repair I have undertaken, the pricing was competitive.
An essential part of the roof installation is the warranty for the shingles. The estimator explained the warranty process in detail. After researching, I realized it was necessary to get reputable roofers to back this warranty in the rare chance it was needed.
I would not hesitate to recommend Russel Roofing for your roof replacement.

Very professional, from estimate to execution to communications during each stage. Finished work is excellent, and to their credit, their crews did a great deal of work during some of the hottest weather of the summer, keeping to schedule in the process.
Would highly recommend to anyone in need of roofing on older historic home like ours.

The work went well, the staff was clean, friendly, efficient and prompt. I can’t review them yet, however: The reason I hired Russell was to eliminate a leak into my garage. Since they finished we have not had a hard rain, which will or will not prove they succeeded in stopping the leak. Ask me again in a month or two.
