They told me they would be able to look at it either that afternoon or next day. Within an hour of me getting home, they called and said my car was ready. Squirrel had got in and chewed wires. “I can repair almost anything. Million dollar federally owned machinery included. Most anything on a vehicle is not beyond my ability with the exception of my physical limitations at 65 years of age. I will fully admit that I don’t know enough about a transmission to even attempt a marginal internal or technical repair. That said ,I’ve had transmission shops blow smoke up my 6, give me prices on things that were not necessary and quite frankly inflate or pad the bills.
THIS PLACE IS HONEST-AND- HELPFUL! That’s something that is not COMMONPLACE when dealing with automotive repair shops in my opinion these days, especially transmission repair shops. Call them and see what you think about them for yourself. I’m more than satisfied!!

“Came here because I got a flat tire and had to be at work in an hour and they were the closest place that said they'd help me put my spare on. Had my spare on within 10mins. I called the next morning to see about getting a new tire and had a new tire that afternoon, and they didn't over charge me as much as they possibly could! I seriously appreciate the kindness and help with stuff I know nothing about. Also appreciate not paying what pepboys or chain businesses would charge for one tire. This place will be my go to from now on!”

“Well worth the trip! After seeing reviews I drove 3 hours from Upstate NY to drop off my Vanagon with Kevin and Brian (the train station within a block of shop makes this ideal). At drop off Kevin didn’t just take the keys and shoo me out. He took the time to discuss everything I wanted done. Brian sent pics, texts, and called daily to update me on how progress was going. At pick up Brian thoroughly went through everything. They know VWs. These guys care, something you don’t always get these days. “Today was my first time going to see Dennis. I told him how much I needed to have my car serviced today in order to go into work Monday. He ordered the parts needed for my car and spent all day fixing it so that I could have it up and running for Monday. His prices were fair and I can tell he was compassionate which is what we need in this world. His wife was also so friendly they gave me a box of Girl Scout cookies for my service!
