I had been to 3 other restaurants for restaurant week. This was my least fave but still good. What was the best of all 4 restaurants I tried? Dante our server. Went beyond the call of duty. Was informed and helpful and even took pictures for us. Beyond as I said. Excellent waitstaff. As I said dinner wasn't as great. My chicken was dry and my friends short ribs also. Other than that, beautiful presentation, soup was exemplary and so was chocolate cake.

The elderly lady at the omelette station was awesome. Most of the staff was courteous. The lady that sat us was a little off putting. When I told her that we had a reservation she quickly stated that she didn't have a computer in front of her so it didn't matter. Our server was very slow. Rarely checked in on us. Took forever to bring the check and to process payment.

Oof. Not sure if it was a rough night or just rough. Our seating went VERY well, as the person working the door was fabulous. Once we got seated, it took a long time for our waiter to get to us. In that time, we heard rumblings from the table in front of us that their food was taking forever, even though it was a simple order of fried chicken. We finally placed an order, but, after seeing lots of tables without food, and hearing wait staff talk about the problem, I asked our waiter if things were coming out slowly tonight. "Yes," he admitted. I told him to cancel our order. We went to the brewery across the street, which had our food out in 20 minutes. We won't be back, sadly. I hope they fix the speed issue (it could have just been a tough night, but it was only a Thursday), and, if they do, perhaps the food is good. We'll never know!

I’m in from out of town staying at the hotel while I recover from a procedure at CHOP and this included being here over the Thanksgiving holiday. The restaurant and their staff went above and beyond making sure I had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner with dessert brought up to my room for the holiday and made sure I had everything I needed. They even included a handwritten card that was so thoughtful and meaningful. All the food was so good, especially the stuffing and the mini pumpkin pies!

Soup was cold sent it back came back luke warm. Food arrived. It was cold. The waiter and manager did their best to make things right with the price. It was disappointing- it was my first time being at a restaurant for Thanksgiving and probably my last.

Food was sad and overpriced. The Pinot Gris was undrinkable, waiter offered to take it back, and to top it off my roast chicken entree was laughable. It was the size of a sparrow and laden with gravy. Hubby had crab cake which was good but only 1 small crab cake. Cocktails were outrageously expensive. Our server nonetheless was gracious and offered a dessert on the house. For the price of our dinner we could have had a wonderful meal at a top restaurant. Altho convenient if staying at the Marriot, I would not eat here.

Mediocre food at best. Horrible waiter who rushed us out of there. My friend was seated for a minute before the waiter asked us for our order. Asked politely to give us few minutes to which he looked to be annoyed with. He kept coming back every few minutes with that annoyed look. Awful.

The "Charm'tastic Mile" (Love That 1.3) had a great lunch at the Thirteen (1.3) Restaurant at the Philadelphia Marriott. The Double-Burger was cooked perfect med-rare. The staff were very friendly and professional. We were in Philadelphia as part of the Famous Streets & Sports Culture in America honoring the 40th Anniversary of the Orioles & Phillies Fall Classic of 1983. The 2023 Phillies were playing the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLCS (Game-2). The Thirteen Restaurant logo looks like The "Charm'tastic Mile" 1.3. We will return to Philly very soon maybe for the 2023 World Series. Thank you, 13 Restaurant.

Dining at the Marriott:Do not go! Do not go! Do not go!Is that subtle enough? Literally, the worst dining experience we've ever had in our lives. Seriously folks, take a minute, Google nearby restaurants and go to one of them. This place is embarrassingly bad. I can't believe Marriott allows something so poorly run to operate under their name. A quick breakdown. We were warned there was a table of 15 about to be seated so if we didn't want our food to be seriously delayed we should order right away. Okay, we weren't really ready to order but appreciated the heads up so we hurried up and ordered. There were no plates on our table. So when our cheese plate and charcuterie appetizers showed up. We had to eat them by hand. Literally. Did anyone come check on us to see how things were going without plates or utensils? Nope. We had no drinks. I don't even mean our alcohol, which was nowhere to be found and consisted of two bottled beers and a martini. No, I mean just our glasses of water. We saw another table get served from a pitcher of water and asked if we could get some as well as he passed by us with a still half filled pitcher. He wasn't our server and blatantly ignored us. The young lady that was supposed to be serving our table was busy with the table of 15. Obviously, that's plenty for one person. The young man who was pressed into service for our table absolutely did his best. Nice man, polite, he tried. Any support for him was nonexistent. We ordered 4 entrees. 2 hamburgers and 2 salads. 1 salad never showed up, and the 1 burger that was explicitly ordered without a bun, due to gluten issues, and rare, showed up on a bun and well done. So it had to be sent back. The other burger, ordered medium rare, also showed up well done. After 25-30 minutes we gave up on the other burger and salad ever showing up and asked for our check. We watched a "manager" of this restaurant walk by us 4-5 times as all this went on. Never stopped once to ask how things were or, as things were going horribly wrong, ask if there was anything he could do to help. A lot of restaurants suffer from a labor shortage now, but I've never seen any as poorly run as this place. Marriott, you should be embarrassed to have this place in your establishment.
