I've come to this location to have tires replaced in the past and mainly choose AAA as they have a comfortable waiting area and it's close to home and have generally been honest. I scheduled an appointment this week for a 9 am, I arrived on time and was greeted promptly. After 2.5 of waiting I received a text and email regarding a report of my car while I was in the waiting area. I figured someone would come out to give me an update as I told them I would be waiting. Instead, after 15 minutes I walked up to the front desk for them to ask me if I received the report and to my dismay the tire that I came in to be fixed hadn't even been started on yet. I can't believe that I waited 2.5 hours for them to tell me that I needed the tire I already knew needed to be replaced did in fact need to be replaced. I was then quoted for another 1-1.5 hours to get the tire replaced. What was the point of making an appointment in the first place?! I was charged for an alignment when I had not ask for that to be done as I was getting one rear tire. I was never asked if I wanted them to provide a condition report. They also threw in some other bogus charge which I asked them to remove. I lost 3 hours of my time and $150+ on an alignment I did't ask for. After my visit this location has now lost my business. Save yourself the headache and go to any other car shop in the area.

Had a dead battery and called AAA to come jump start my car. Technician was there within 45 minutes (on a Friday at 5pm rush hour in the middle of the city - very quick response!). Technician tested my battery on the spot and told me it was a battery and alternator problem. Told me I would need to get my car towed. He was able to change the call from a roadside assistance call to a tow call on the spot, which took about 5 minutes. Tow truck came 1 hour later. Tow truck driver (Will) was extremely cautious with my car and informative about next steps. He towed my car to AAA that night. The next morning (Saturday) at 7:20am, I received a call and talked to Marlee at AAA, who assured me the technician would be evaluating my car that morning! Received multiple status update calls from Marlee throughout the morning, reviewing in detail the cost and job breakdown. Turns out I just needed a battery replaced. Car was done by 12pm. Total cost was extremely fair/average for new car battery. Thank you Will & Marlee!!

One word.....Ghetto❗️Walked in, only one rep greeted us. Mind you, she was across the room & handling a call. CS skills definitely need refreshing. Definitely 1 star, the 2nd star is for the representative.

Customer service and towing were great. HOWEVER… the service department is a complete joke. After having AAA tow my car due to stuck brake caliper, I was told the service dept was backed up and would need at least 4 or 5 days to perform diagnostics. Lead tech also reccomended adding an old change based on my “car fax” apparently while conveying this info.. ?. After a week with no contact I reach out again to find out they are “short several mechanics” including “the one assigned” to my car.. next time I call it’s “on the lift” but they need 2 days to finish diagnostics and put together the quote. 3 more days, and it turns out they can’t do the diagnostics at all until I put down $1k because suddenly my car is “overheating as soon as it turns on!” And they need to flush every fluid in the car and replace my radiator cap. Of course at this point I had it towed to my regular mechanic who immediately diagnosed the stuck caliper, replaced that along w rotors, pads and hoses, and I’m back on the road for way less than half of what AAA mechanics wanted for “diagnosis” within 2 hours of getting the car up on the lift… what a bunch of scam artists and clowns!!!

Took my truck in for the pa inspection. All went well, until they told me what was wrong. Like for any inspection you hope you can make it through without any major work needed. Staff was friendly, place is clean.

If there were 0 stars that's what I would give the Service Manager Kevin at this repair shop. Yesterday I went in to get my car serviced before driving to Florida - my third trip in six months and after spending thousands of dollars. I was again accompanied by my small dog Emotional Support Animal who always accompanies me on these visits. Unfortunately, I forgot his ESA papers and his harness. I had him designated an ESA after the recent death of my husband to ease my anxiety. The service manager was awful. He kept coming over and said 'i don't believe you when you say this is an emotional support animal'. Finally he told me they couldn't service my car and I had to leave. I asked if he could give me a chair to sit outside. He said NO and again asked me to leave. He had not an ounce of caring. Not interested in finding a solution like me sitting outside. I found his words demeaning and I felt ageism and misogyny during the interaction. Kevin treated me with such disrespect and not one of the other "Advisors" tried to help me. Only after calling the regional office to complain was I able to get a chair brought outside and was able to wait for my service. My late husband and I have been members of AAA for nearly 40 years. We have used your car repair services in Philadelphia, NJ and St. Augustine FL. AAA on Columbus Ave was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. I'm still in the throws of anxiety two days later. I'll never go back to be disrespected like that. As a 70 year old widow I need a smooth and compassionate car service experience. I'll go direct to Honda as they allow me to sit and wait with my dog. Shame on you AAA for not training your service people better. Kevin needs to go through customer and communications training. Perhaps he should try a little kindness as well. Renee Jones Center City, Philadelphia.
