Damaged my hallway and refrigerator when they delivered my appliances. They said they would replace the refrigerator doors and they have not. Poor customer service.

Trashed my doorway, charged me over $500.00 to deliver a washer/dryer. Damaged the sides of the dryer and had to get a GE repair guy to come fix it. This place is a joke. Avoid it at all costs. Unprofessional.

This was the least professional place I have ever had to buy something from. The salesman in charge of our purchase was outright rude and seemed deeply annoyed by every part of the process. I paid for shipping at the original time of purchase and then was called months later when our stove was in stock and told I never paid shipping. I gave my credit card info again and then was called a week later told he never processed that payment and he needed the information again. When I asked for a minute to look through my bank statement he told me he was going to cancel my delivery if I didn’t give him the information again. No apology or explanation as to what happened. We only went to this place because they carry the specific range we really wanted so I put up with the awful customer service. But it was truly down right hostile. I never write reviews and I’m pretty easygoing but this was truly unlike anything I’ve had experienced before. This purchase was a really big deal for me I saved for months to get exactly what I wanted and dealing with the sales team absolutely ruined the experience.

I like supporting independent businesses and was looking forward to getting new appliances from AIRS since they are nearby. The ordering process was easy but delivery was another story. I was charged $525.00 for delivery because the guy had to take off the door leading to the basement. He left finishing nails which he had extracted on the floor and damaged the wall so that the door does not close well. The dryer I purchased made loud banging noises so I reported this to Marvin who was quite defensive and condescending and said to call GE repair. For a brand new machine! (Delivery guy had also forgotten a piece to join the stacking washer and dryer, had to come back the next day to attach that plus one of the warranty papers...inefficient and sloppy to say the least.) GE repair guy came today and said the banging noise resulted from damage done to the body of the dryer during delivery. He was able to fix it. Will never buy another thing from AIRS Appliances. Sheisters. Too many other efficient, reliable, professional companies around to put up with being rooked $$$$$$$ on a delivery that resulted in damaged goods.

We are not new to Airs. We were customers when they were located on Chestnut St. The service was good and we purchased from them Marvin then was the owner. Fast forward to a huge showroom on Washington Ave. We purchased a dishwasher there. We were in the market for a non ducted range hood. We arrived on a Monday morning and saw five people around a circular desk in the center of the store. They did try their best to ignore us, but I broke in and asked, "Is Marvin here." Marvin was out as was their other salesman. "Are there any ductless range hoods on the floor?" "No." We walked around and left really puzzled. No one there to sell? They are adding more square footage to the showroom floor. Why? No one to service customers on a Monday? On Tuesday, I contacted Marvin who was very busy. I had a specific need, a 36" ductless range hood 16" in depth. Marvin said he would get back to me. I talked with him on October 5, 2021. I never heard back from him. Prolog I did my own research on the web. I found a Kobe hood with the exact features I needed. At The Home Depot, it was $200. cheaper than any of the appliance websites. Excellent service from HD and it arrived from CA in one week. Do your own research and you can find what you want at a much better price. On one item, Airs was just $100. cheaper on a high ticket item. Enough said.

The staff especially Marvin was very professional. He didn't try to foist an unwanted item on me. He answered my questions. I bought the Miele washer and dryer set and I am very happy with my purchase.

Marvin has been helping my family for over 50 years with all our appliance needs. He is knowledgeable and professional at all times with very reasonably prices. We just bought a new washer and dryer and everything from purchase to setup was flawless!!! I highly recommend Marvin and his company ,Airs Appliances!! Jeffrey Barsky

Marvin has always had more product knowledge than anyone I know. He's been in the business for decades, catering to the upscale and very specialized appliances for condos and different spaces. BUT not only will he sell you any appliance, but he advised us that waiting until holiday times would result in lower prices as the manufacturer offers discounts. We waited a few weeks for hundreds of dollars off.

I ordered and paid for an air conditioner on 20 August and was promised delivery "in a few days". On August 26th I was told (after 2 calls) that I would have it on August 27. On the 27th I was told it was "in our New York warehouse". Are they liars or just incompetent? I had to cancel the installer I hired!

I have bought several appliances from Airs including washer, dryer, dishwasher and dehumidifier. The prices are great and delivery was quick and professional. They understand the unique delivery issues for rowhomes in the city. Harvey is particularly great.
