The room is small, but was very clean and perfect for a city trip. The only complaint is the sliding door to the bathroom that doesn’t quite shut fully right next to the bed does not work great for privacy. The breakfast we got included was slow slow slow but super nice people and tasted good just plan ahead it seems quick to go but wasn’t. The lady at the front desk I believe her name was Mia - we stayed 12/26 one night she checked us in and out the next morning and was the nicest person ever. Seriously the best! Valet was quick and easy just pricey.

The hotel was in a perfect location to the venue where we were going. Overall, the hotel was really nice, bar, pool table and lounge area. Jasmine at the front desk was very welcoming, accommodating and pleasant. She was knowledgeable about the area. Only downside was the thermostat in the room was extremely loud when the heat turned off/on. The bed was very comfortable! There’s no parking in the area, so be prepared to pay $65 a night for valet parking. They do offer in/out, however, I would advise to utilize Uber. The parking in Philly is atrocious!

I Love staying here!!! I stay here every time I visit. The Location is Excellent and you may even be lucky enough to have a prime view of City Hall. Walking distance to all restaurants and many attractions. The rooms themselves are really good and have never had an issue with them. Their service is top notch as well. They are extremely friendly. In fact, last time I visited with a friend we stayed here and when we checked our rooms she coincidentally had a better room layout and view so I jokingly went down to reception before doing anything to my room and they were beyond nice and toke my nonsensical request seriously even though I had no real claim tbh and for the one night I was staying they had an availability in one of their highest tier rooms with THE PERFECT VIEW which they so kindly let me stay in. Definitely my go to hotel.

Jessica Franklin, Firstly, I must express my disappointment in discovering discrepancies related to a charged amount, your response contained inaccuracies, lack of transparency.I possess bank statements as evidence, clearly indicating that the hotel has charged the card, contradicting the hotel's denial.I implore you to investigate these matters thoroughly, ensure accurate information is conveyed, and take immediate steps to rectify the situation.(Jessica Franklin) is attempting to conceal mistakes made by Karim, the hotel manager, disrespecting a senior citizen and unwillingness and refusing to assist customers. It's disheartening that Aloft Philadelphia Downtown, a Marriott partner, is dishonest about the charges.Your lack knowledge of hotel policies andthis situation reflects poorly on the management, I am sure you understand the importance of upholding the hotel's policies and providing exemplary customer service. It is essential for the management, including individuals like yourselves, to maintain the integrity of the customer experience, particularly for guests.Ensure accuracy and professionalism, as evidenced by your apology for a lack of housekeeping for three consecutive days, a breach of the advertised daily Housekeeping. As a paying guest, I believe it is only fair to receive the services and standards promised.I am committed to escalating this concern until appropriate actions are taken to address these issues.Rooms: NO HOUSE KEEPINGSafety: HOTEL NOT SAFENoteworthy details: The MANAGEMENT ARE LIARS

This is a solid choice for a hotel when you need to be in the heart of the city. You're a short walk away from the convention center, Reading Terminal, Chinatown, LOVE park, a huge Trader Joe's, and of course city hall. I stayed here for a staycation and found it very comfortable. The lobby itself is vibrant and stunning, with a nice bar, seating areas, and small "store" area where you can buy water and snacks. The room itself is comfortable, although not luxurious by any stretch. A mini fridge is a must for me but no microwave means you have to take a trip down to the mini store to warm anything you have. The bathrooms feature Drybar products. The shower pressure was good and the water was almost scalding hot in my room. You will definitely hear the nearby room doors opening and closing throughout your stay but hopefully the bed will be so comfy you'll be sound asleep and won't hear it.

This was def a pretty fun hotel! They have a really nice lobby with a bar AND pool table! The lady at the front desk was helpful and got us to our room quickly. The room is a decent size with a comfy bed and nice blackout curtains ☺☺Its in a nice location in the middle of lots of shops and close to the train. They are a Marriott brand so it'll be a nice treat. Would def go back if I am I Philly.

My lady and I visit downtown Philly once a year and love this place. Everything you get is fantastic for the price, rooms are well kept and clean. Karim was an exceptional and welcoming host who made our visit this year two times better than the last!

I would have loved to stay here ... but despite having made a reservation through Travelocity more than six months in advance of my trip, which was to take place on a busy convention weekend, I was notified just three weeks before my scheduled check-in date that the hotel was overbooked and would not honor my reservation. I tried calling the hotel half a dozen times over five days to work something out, spoke to managers three times (three different ones) but never got a call back offering any sort of resolution, positive or negative. Perhaps I was naïve to think that a third-party reservation actually reserved anything, but the lack of follow-through on the hotel's part--and Marriott corporate's utter lack of interest in resolving the issue--has me feeling bitter, to put it politely.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had no issues leaving our bags with the staff when we got to the hotel early before check in. The room was very clean and comfortable, I would definitely stay here again!

First impression: great location! Right next to the convention center, Reading Terminal Market and all of the important historical attractions. It's in an older building (of course) with huge windows - very cool lobby vibe. The bar area seemed to open shortly after we arrived. When we arrived at 3:30 for check in, we were informed that our rooms weren't ready because housekeeping was behind. We weren't offered anything other than an apology and to store our luggage if we wanted to leave. Our room didn't become available until after 4pm. First time in my life this has happened to me. It was fine, we played a quick game of pool until our room became available. The room itself is a little bigger than a NYC hotel room. It has everything you need like a bed, mini fridge, ice bucket (but no ice machines), desk, TV, etc. The room seemed fairly clean and the bathrooms seemed clean as well as updated. Everything is pretty dark though so it's hard to tell. The individual who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful with recommendations - wish I got her name. I'd stay here again due to location and affordability

Had a really good stay here in the summer. We had been in New York previously and needed to do laundry at the hotel - the staff were really helpful with this, helping us out by supplying detergent and showing us how it worked. The hotel is in a great location for the attractions of Philly (walkable to Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, 15th St. subway station, Reading Terminal Market, museums, restaurants etc.( and we found the room to be very comfortable and clean. Thank you for a pleasant stay :)

When I finally got my vehicle back from the hotel, I was like, "Where's my freakin' bag?" That bag had a primo sample for my business and it was worth a pretty penny. I tried to call the hotel on TWO devices, but no one was picking up. Don't even think about booking a room at that dump, man. I'm so ticked off.
