Never heard of this bank before? Don't worry, no one has. Even worse you're going to wish you never did! God forbid you need to call and speak to anyone, you'll be run all over the place with the automated system. Then you'll hold for an unreasonable amount of time. Once you're finally on the line with someone they're either clueless, rude, or ask you to hold only to hang up instead.
Absolutely worst experience imaginable! I'd rather call the IRS than ever deal with these people again.

They keep threatening to make me pay for insurance even though I provided proof of insurance. Tried to call a few times their phone systems aren’t the best usually making me just talk to a robot. Seems like they just want to keep taking money instead of just assisting with my car loan.

Waited almost 1 hr to get a print , noone knows how to print. especially weekends all are unprofessionals. Very bad customer service 👎

They're email and phone support is absolutely horrid. I tried to submit a request to set up a bi weekly payment for my auto loan. Long story short and more than a montly later, they want me to keep resubmitting the request with different criteria every single time. They won't list these requirements all at once but one at a time. You have to do this. We need this. Oh and you need to make a pdf. More than a month of this nonsense. Absolutely horrid. All you can do is just laugh at how terrible this experience has been.

Paid off a car loan and they sent the title regular mail. It never came to me. Now the title of my car is somewhere mysteriously and this credit union leaves it on me to go get a new title made, which I am sure I am going to have to pay for. They also only let you do certain transactions via video banking which constantly kicks you off. Terrible customer service experience and I will never use them again.

This is the worst bank..do not bank here..I ask for a form to close out account and it was supposed to be blank but it had someone else's information on it..EVERYTHING SS#,BANK ACCT. NUMBERS, PLACE SHE LIVED AND WORKED..EVERYTHING THEY WANT FROM YOU..SAVE YOURSELF AND CHANGE BANKS NOW..GOD ONLY KNOW WHERE YOUR INFO WILL END UP..

I refinanced my auto loan with them in December 2024.
January 3rd they notified me that my comprehensive coverage wasn't what they require for their loans. I had my insurance policy changed, but the change didn't go into effect until Feb 5th because that's when my next coverage period began. I then received a letter that I will be charged $1113 for this lapse in coverage that will be added to my loan. When I called their customer service (who then transferred me around to 5 different people) I was told it was part of my loan agreement and there is nothing they can do. They did not have an answer when I asked them why wasn't my insurance policy checked BEFORE accepting to take me on as a lender. Especially since my insurance was adequate for my previous lender. They just told me that this $1113 will be added to my payments over the next 12 months.
I'm currently looking to refinance elsewhere. Choosing to refinance with AHCU was a huge mistake. I would avoid AHCU like the plague...

Terrible bank the phone app and desktop details don’t much if you have car loan with them you don’t know what you are paying for prices don’t match when you call them they seem to beat around the bush

Worst place to do business with instead of doing clean business with paying customers they just scam u out of your money word of advice to people DO NOT TAKE OUT A CAR LOAN WITH THEM AND DO NOT REFINANCE WITH THEM JUST PLEASE DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS AT ALL WITH THESE PEOPLE JUST KNOW THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED IF YOU PAY THEM 3 TIMES IN A MONTH THEY TAKE INTEREST OUT OF EVERY PAYMENT IF YOU TRY TO PAY A MONTH IN ADVANCE THE NEXT MONTH THEY TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY IN INTEREST YOU WILL TAKE A CAR VALUE AT 20k AND EVEN AFTER YOU PAY FOR A YEAR YOU OWE THEM 25k THAT THE TYPE OF SCAMMERS YOU WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH REMEMBER AGAIN YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Worst place to do banking there's always a problem customer service reps are not professional I close one of my accounts because this place is the worst they didn't even ask why it was just like okay most places ask why are you closing an account

I’m not reviewing the credit union itself but I can’t believe this specific building doesn’t have five stars. They do free firework shows, have outstanding Christmas lights, car shows in the summer, etc. Don’t let the 1-star reviews for people who defaulted on their mortgages take away from the fact that this is an amazing campus for a banking institution.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Nasty workers at the front counter. You come to settlement for million dollar transactions, and they won’t let you use the bathroom. Terrible. Will never return and will advise every investor I know, to not do business here.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with the staff. Everyone is knowledgable and friendly. The branch manager Mr. Blunt helped me send insurance documents to the loan department. He made sure it was taken care of in a timely manner.
