Don't do the holiday lights with this company. I tried emailing them about my awful experience but they don't care they just want your 50/pp. This is what I wrote in my email "We stopped at 3 places. The last one was Franklin square and it was closed. It was raining so I understand you can't control if they have their light show but you should offer something else instead of stopping there for a short time to do nothing. People had to really use the bathroom at that point and were forced to squat behind a building facing the freeway to go to the bathroom (all bathrooms were closed). Our tour guide was not entertaining at all. She didn't tell us what was going on, barely talked, and when she did talk the music played over her. It was just really disappointing for the amount charged it felt like I was on a septa bus. We got back 10 minutes early because nothing happened at Franklin Square. Just a really disappointing night."I did something similar to this a few years ago and was really excited but realized it was with the founding footsteps company which is the original tour that started this.

We did the holiday light tour and it was awful... We stopped at 13th Street in South Philly, drove through another street with lights and at ended at Franklin Square which was closed due to the rain so we were done ten minutes early. The tour guide barely spoke or told us where we were going, what to pay attention too, etc but did speak up at the end to tell us we could tip! We did a holiday light tour before that stopped at a couple different spots including 13th Street, The Art Museum and a bar that had special cocktails for the tour and live music on the trolley. For $100 we could have drove around ourselves looking at the lights. :(

We did this for the holiday lights. Would pass again, it was entertaining but the windows are so tinted on the trolley you can’t see the Christmas light. Then the windows were open (drop down) causing double tint on half the window you would see out of giving half a window to be able to crouch down and look at lights. There were Christmas light inside the trolley made the inside bright and even harder to see the Christmas lights. All in all I would pass on this if your goal is to see the Christmas lights. For $100 we could have ubered places.

This was such a blast! The concept is really cool and the fact that you can hop on and off at different landmarks, makes it worth the money! I can’t remember the older Black gentleman’s name, but he was lively and funny… even in the cold. If you just want to see the landmarks, without going through tours, 1 day passes will suffice; however, if you want to stop and visit/tour the internal parts of like the museum and whatnot, get the city pass and then do the tour. I only had a day to work with and that was pretty good ?

Had a great time with family on the holiday lights tour. Trolley was warm, holiday music playing and best part it's BYOB.

It is a very quick way to see the main tourist sites in Philadelphia, although if you want to enter any of the museums or the penitentiary, you would miss the opportunity to complete the tour. When purchasing the ticket, they never told us that you can also use City Sightseeing buses, which made us waste a lot of time waiting for the first bus. It is recommended as long as you are only in the city for 1 day, otherwise I would prefer to visit the attractions on my own, and take the time to enter them.

The Big Bus Tour we took in Philadelphia was excellent. Our tour guide, Ernest, was extremely informative and entertaining.

Seen everything that is worth seeing. Tour was moderated live, so (unfortunately) only in English.

Unfortunately the tour guide was very annoying and a bit aggressive when it came to the tips . At every stop when guest came off the bus he kept pressuring about tips and that it made half their salary. I completely understand being in the service industry but repeating this at every other stop got exhausting especially when he made smart remarks when guest left and didn’t leave anything. He also would walk with guest going down the stairs to kind of put more pressure on them to leave a tip. It started to get awkward and made me feel really uncomfortable . Other than that the stops were really good. He was was knowledgeable about the area. And it’s a good buy to see numerous stops and have a form of transport back and forth throughout the area for a fairly good price. I would definitely do it again but with a less uptight money hungry tour guide

Incredibly disappointing. Long wait to board - sent from block to block to wait and wait more. Finally we took an Uber. Staff were listless and didn’t care we were disappointed.
