A cute store in the heart of Philly. Decent selection of comics, trades, hardcovers, and children's books. Role-playing books. Character figurines. We walked in 40 minutes before closing, and the clerk was super helpful and genuinely nice.

The best in town. Cassie and Brian are friendly, energetic and very knowledgeable about all kinds of comics/graphic novels. As a huge horror fan myself, I found more than just a couple of series to enjoy during my free time thanks to their recommendations. I also love the layout and lighting of this store: small yet well-lit and perfectly organized. This place is just great.

Sad to see their original store about two stores down moved but the allure of brave new world is still there great selections and a lot of figures and statues to check out and purchase.

3 stars because just trying to get to the place is horrible. Expect to park clocks away and pay a meter. More figures than the other location. Good selection too, they have a few mezco one:12's even. Comics galore! I'd pay them another visit for sure.

Brave New Worlds is the only comic bookstore I go to in Philadelphia. The vibe is amazing, the selection of books is equally as impressive and the staff is just so darn wonderful. Rob, Brian and Cacey are always so informed on modern comics and comic history. It’s so much easier to ask them about a character/run/author than going on the internet (looking at you, Reddit). Extra points for their ability to make me laugh!

Very nice little shop just east of the old city. Friendly and nice atmosphere inside. Had a good selection of new comics and trades but back issues were more limited. They did have some nice key books in their back issues and on the wall. Overall I liked this little shop.

A bit dark atmosphere with weird music playing inside. Nonetheless, a great selection of comics and related memorabilias. Not enough vintage items for me.
