I had a really bad experience here. I made an appointment for my husband and I to set up a joint bank account. The person who helped us called sent a reminder was nice at first. Both my husband and I went in together and set up the account with joint debit cards- created pins, entered in details etc. we were there about 45 minutes doing this. Within a few days my husband gets the card he also got a call from the bank asking how our experience was and the representative asked what we planned to do once we sell a house (we discussed this during our initial meeting) he said are waiting on closing and he left it at that. I waited until two weeks passed called to ask about my card. Turns out “I didn’t set up a debit card for me in the system but I could come in a do the process over again” I said I don’t have time and filed a complaint in the company about this sexist experience. This week the same guy who called my husband finally called… to ask what we were doing with the money after settling our house sale. I said I don’t want to work with this bank and had a terrible experience with them. He said “I have years of banking experience” instead of asking how he can better the situation. I got another call from a line from another country that was terrible service so the call didn’t come in clear regarding my complaint (they source out their customer service instead of dealing it with it themselves). All to say this bank needs some lessons in customer service please just avoid this mess. We wish we went somewhere else!!!

Pretty mixed experiences at this place. Definitely convenient for Fishtown: They almost always have time and capacity to help, and sometimes can do so quickly and efficiently. On the other hand, the folks who work there are... often unfriendly.
Just one example: I recently went in for help making a large wire transfer (home purchase), and was treated weirdly gruffly. Given the nature/size of the transfer, I had some basic questions about timeline, procedure, etc. that were met with continuous eye-rolling. The weirdest was that I asked to verify the account numbers aloud to make sure everything was correct, and was told -- in an empty office -- that this was a security violation, and that no competent banker would ever do this for a customer. To their credit, the manager heard the interaction, took over, and helped me out.
If you don't mind a little bit of rough handling, this place is ok.

I used to love this branch and its bankers for the first year and a half it was open. Now it’s absolutely horrible. Unfriendly and rude service, not efficient at all. Gets upset when I make large cash deposits and tries to get me to use the ATM instead.

Whenever I or my husband come in the people are always so nice, friendly, and helpful. Shaun has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful in creating accounts. Definitely a great group of people!

Don’t bother coming outside of business hours. 50-50 chance the door works. No working Chase ATMs in Fishtown.

This bank is extremely unreliable! They are unable to help you with anything and tells you to call customer care. Will not be banking in the future

Bank teller said you need utility bill in order to open a checking and can't ben opened a checking online. No you dont. You can register online.

Incredibly nice people who went over the top to help me. I even came in just before closing due to an emergency and they were incredibly helpful and polite.
