It was my last night in Philly and I was on the prowl for these "Peanut Chews" I heard about online. It is a regional Chocolate Peanut Butter candy bar that was suppose to be at any market. I had already looked at a 7 Eleven and a CVS, and I almost gave up. Convenient Food Mart was my hail mary last attempt AND THEY HAD IT! Yessssss. Staff was so friendly and sweet. There was a young Asian girl at the counter and she actually helped me find these Peanut Chews. She said they were good too. Yay! I bought a few for my parents and my boyfriend so they can have a fun snack from Philly.

Pretty good selection, but every time I’ve gone in their deli was closed

Staff is always very accommodating. Selections are good. A bit pricey, but aren't most convenience stores? Well worth it.

......... I cannot make this up. I order a cheeseburger. Hungry. They go place the hamburger paddy that was pre-made and put in the microwave. I cannot make this up. $5.67 plus .50 for extra cheese. Caramello small candy bar $1.75. Center City food places are horrible. Paolo's and 11th Street Pizza closed years ago. No good places to eat. Please go to any South Philly bodega and get some real food that is not microwaved hamburger. Sad.

Bad vegetarian options. Even though there are veg options on deli menu, staff was very confused by my order (hot veggie hoagie with cheese) and instead of grilling veggies they put entire hoagie with raw ingredients in oven - but it came out cold, cheese not melted in the slightest. The veggies that did come on the hoagie was just raw onions and an absurd amount of raw hot/sweet peppers. Did not taste good and I do not get why there are no delis in the city that can’t grasp a vegetarian meal, not everybody eats meat and it’s not that crazy to ask for a sandwich with no meat…and If it is, then don’t offer it on your menu! Also was not cheap.

They make a great sandwich for an even better price, I feel like this place needs more recognition. They also have everything you'd expect at a corner store, great if you don't want to make a full grocery trip

I had a positive experience here one time when I went in to get a bottled coffee product recently, for some reason I really was in a non attentive to details aspect and I did not check the bottles properly. Upon getting to the check out the young lady behind the counter after examining the bottles realized that the expiration date was past due and recommended not selling the product to me because of this. It is situations like this that make me appreciate convenient stores like this one as opposed to the Wawa up the street, They take caring for their customers a lot more seriously and there’s a lot less procedures and mechanical robotic like employee behavior and they typically provide more care to customer experience to ensure that they retain a customer base.

I will NEVER visit another convenient food mart anywhere ever again. I see that word convenient mart, I will drive right on by, even if it means driving a home ndred miles out of my way to avoid them. They are a bunch of heartless corporate monsters!!!

A really great convenience shop with excellent sandwiches! They have fresh fruit that’s well priced, especially for the city. Friendly staff and great selection. I pop in here a whole heck of a lot
