Philadelphia, known to a small but influential group of locals as "Philly," seems to be some sort of a workout desert. There is no equinox and only one CorePower in the city?!?! Damn I'm starting to sound boujee lmao my fault...I made the trek from Black Turtle Coffee to Corepower to make the 1pm sculpt class. Much to my surprise, the class wasn't full and had ample space to actually do yoga. I think I have PTSD from every studio in nyc where even getting a spot in a sculpt class is an absolute BLOODBATH. Really grinds my gears but I don't really have a solution for that so Imma stop complaining.Mina (sorry if I spelled your name wrong Mina) was a FANTASTIC teacher, the perfect amount of leading a good workout but not making it so hard where no one can do the mf class smh. She also did a good amount of the class along with us, which is one of my critiques of yoga teachers in general. A good general leads from the front like Mina does. Mina isn't playing scared.Few things have my endorphins pumpin, dopamine rushin, like a good yoga sculpt class. The perfect mix for me of getting an actual workout and stretching out. I feel as free as a female gymnast in my body while simultaneously feeling lean like a Fight Club Brad Pitt after a good sculpt class. As for Philly, known to a smaller but likely more influential group of locals as "The Big P," I'm sorry I called you a workout desert but will some of y'all please give me some recs for other classes to do. I hang my hat on taking constructive criticism in stride when given opposing evidence. Why am I in the Big P so much lately? Good question, my dear reader. That will be covered in a later review. But I WILL be back to take Minas class again.THANK YOU COREPOWER! THANK YOU MINA!IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__

Best teachers ever! Wonderful community as well and the studio has locker rooms with showers, which are a godsend after a hot yoga class!

False advertisement! I decided to sign up, but nowhere in the ads said that the free week has to be used immediately. The front desk person didn't even try to resolve the situation in a way that you'd expect a nationwide corporation would. Just an "Oh, sorry, and bye." I wouldn't say that's a good way to treat a potential paying customer when there are yoga studios popping up left and right. A free week is a free week, or PUT THAT ON the ADS!

Took a trial class at corepower yoga. I was surprised it was “hot” yoga but room was more warm and less hot - which is good because I hate super hot (over 100 degrees). Class I took was a mix of strength and stretch infused with upbeat coaching. Studio is clean- has full shower and lockers. I’m ready to go back!

I would not call this Yoga, but like, gentle HIIT wearing a Yoga costume. It's kind of the definition of yoga being commercialized/colonized, further emphasized by the lulu lemon store within. It was hilarious that they were playing some top 40...but if you know that going into it that its concept is inherently un-yoga, it's a pretty good workout that fills a niche of people who want a challenge but don't want to go to the bro studios. I went with a friend who has a membership who likes it very much, me, I will not be coming back, but-- this place will be effective for a lot of people who are not me.

They have well appointed shower facilities in the locker room so you can take a mid-day class and go back to the office without being all sweaty.

I originally signed up for the free trial but after one class with Bre I know this is the place for me. I’ve been to a few different place but never have had this much fun whilst pushing my self to my limits. It was a highly enjoyable experience and I would recommend it for everyone!

Favorite gym in Philly by far! CorePower offers three types of classes: C1, C2, and Sculpt. C2 is the perfect hot yoga class when you want to focus on flexibility and balance. Sculpt is a fun workout where you get the perks of hot yoga, barre, and cardio all in one. Would highly recommend trying out the free week and giving each of the classes a shot.

WORST STUDIO IN PHILLY OR ANY CITY!! Decided To try out their free week. The instructors were rude and impersonal the whole time but I liked the vibe of the studio so I was going to buy the membership anyways. Until my last class of my free week, today. I decided to turn my rainy day around by booking an afternoon class. I traveled downtown and walked thru the rain only to arrive at the studio and be told my the instructor that I am the only person in the class so it's up to me if I want to take it. I told her I already traveled thru the rain and made time for it so I want to take it. That's when she decided to tell me if I want to then I have to pay full price?! On my free week membership. Upon looking into this further, nowhere does it say that should you be the only one in attendance on this free week membership, you would have to pay full price. She just didn't want to teach me. It is extremely insulting and disrespectful to not even give me a call in advance and just expect me to pull out my wallet for them when I got there. Refusing to serve me unless I pay while on a FREE week membership is extremely undue and unwarranted refusal of service. Not only that, but my already shitty rainy day is even worse and I no longer have time to work out after traveling home before I go into work this evening. Thanks CorePower yoga! Amanda M, the instructor, just shrugged her shoulders and took no accountability for this unprofessional and disrespectful treatment by herself and the company. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Stick to your local studios, folks!

Isabelle's classes are fabulous. Take one! I have been doing yoga for over 20 years, and I always learn something new each time with her. She is also very sensitive to each student's limitations and makes sure you feel seen by her in class. Also, she is a remarkable listener should you need to ask questions. One of the best in-person communicators I have met in Philadelphia. I also recommend classes taught by Brian, Amanda, and Remi.

Well run with a great range of live, virtual and on demand options. Hot yoga was appropriately strenuous for a range of levels and the heat was perfect! Studio is clean and well managed with great locker rooms and shower facility!

Went in with such high expectations of this place and left feeling like I would never want to join a yoga studio again.I signed up to do a free trial from 1/11 to 1/25. I was under the impression that my trial would last for two weeks, but was told it ended on the 24th. When an end date is placed, nobody thinks that the day before the end date is the last day. Instead of trying to talk through where the lack of communication was, the instructor at the front desk just tried to push for “well you are eligible for a 20% off membership since you did the free trial!” No accountability for the miscommunication. As for the place itself, it’s a very comfortable room and the classes are very rejuvenating. I had one instructor who was very friendly, and she was awesome. And then I had another one (Remi) that gave off a condescending vibe. Almost as if it was clear I wasn’t a “yoga regular”…and so? I have dabbled in yoga before very inconsistently, and was just interested in trying something different. For an environment that is supposed to be all about letting go of expectations and building the best version of yourself, the entirety of the of my experience didn’t align with that.I’ll allow you all to make a judgement call on this place, but as for me, I do not plan on returning.

Always such a pleasure to practice here. It is impeccably clean and the staff is so helpful, welcoming and friendly.
