The pharmacy is top notch. The prices are ridiculous - but it's a cvs, what do you expect? Unfortunate how unhappy all the workers seem - def doesn't seem like a great working environment beyond the pharmacy.

Had some of the things I needed but had some kind of water shortage and were completely sold out of packages of water. Ridiculous. Need to keep water in stock when it's this hot out and people are suffering.

I’m a regular customer of the pharmacy and I have nothing but great things to say. I have a chronic illness and I’m on medications that require a whole lot of jumping through hoops. When I was previously a customer at a different CVS location, I had to constantly be the go between for my pharmacy and my doctor and my insurance. This pharmacy has consistently done all of that for three years without even asking or mentioning it—but I know. And I’m grateful.\\n\\nSure, it can get busy and can at times feel understaffed, but I wholly disagree with the assertion of the employees being antisocial. I’ve only ever had one mishap which had to do with my insurance denying coverage on a script. Basically my insurance needed a letter of prior authorization (something they usually handle without me knowing) but on this specific day, CVS didn’t call me to notify me when they tried to fill it. Luckily I checked by phone so it’s still important to follow up—but that was ONE mishap over 3 years. So I would say that’s a decent track record. Additionally, they have closed earlier than they list online and that’s upsetting, but I’m guessing that’s management and not the pharmacy. So that doesn’t affect my view.\\n\\nThe store? Entirely different story. I think they’re doing the best they can to help prevent theft and that is not their fault.. However, as a customer, if I need something that’s locked and it takes 10 minutes (actually 10–not hyperbole) for an employee to come by and unlock the case; something had to change a bit.

Pharmacy is unbelievably antisocial to the point of seeming agression to anyone asking a question. Its unclear if she doesn’t know about a drug or is just rude. It’s scary and seems like near negligence on cvs’s part as it seems Dangerous for her to dispense medicine.\\n\\nStore is also never open during posted hours, often closes 30 mins early for not reason

They allow everyone to just bring in dogs. Even through a mask, it smells like a kennel. I have very mild dog allergies that haven't been a problem in years, but I went in here and my skin started itching, my nose started running, and my eyes went red and watery. There were at least three dogs in the small store at the same time. Inconsiderate, unsanitary, and inappropriate.

Went in there today and I can't believe I'm writing a review on a CVS. The manager was extremely helpful. Most will usually give a dismissive answer but the guy that worked there walked me over to the hand sanitizers and then walked me over to another area where they might be. Then I had a question about a charging cable and he walked me over to the cables and told me more were behind cashier. The cashier that checked me out was helpful as well and pleasant. This is a well run location

This is a great CVS. It's rather new (2 years) relative to many others in the city. It has an open, sunny feel thanks to windows along the wall flanking Market Street. It's also very clean, unsure if this owes to the newness of the store or excellent cleaning staff. Either way, I appreciate it. Their customer service is friendly, and there is nearly always a smiling staff member greeting folks at the door. The front-of-store line can get a bit slow, but this is a norm at city drug stores. The pharmacy is quick and the line has been so short each time I've visited (usually around lunch hour). Product selection is a bit limited. They carry most major brands. Beware, they only carry 1 type of Aquafresh. Go elsewhere for non-Colgate and non-Crest options. Their photo section offers good quality and user-friendly services. I've printed vacation photos here (yes, there are people like me who still print photos). They also provide quick and inexpensive Passport photos if you need an update for your Passport.

I've gone to many CVS stores but this is the best 259 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19106 the pharmacist actually answers the phone and is very efficient the store is small so if you don't see what your looking for go to CVS at 1046 Market St

I had a bad customer service experience here a few weeks ago, however, the general manager (his name is Mike) went above and beyond to correct the situation. I've worked in the service industry for a long time, so complaining is not something I do often - but Mike took the complaint in stride and made it right. I'll definitely continue to shop here. Otherwise, store is clean and everything is easy to find. Convenient location as well.

This CVS needs a revamp. The store feels old and grungy and can sometimes have an interesting smell to it. The staff are either hit or miss and the lighting is very dark and gloomy. Recommended to try one of the other CVS' in the area, and if you have a car, head to the one by Whole Foods! The selection in this CVS is right on par with the selection at other CVS stores, but it just feels a lot dirtier. The shelves are very well stocked and it is well-organized. Passport photos can be done here for $15. The store itself is in a beautiful part of town that is on the outskirts of old city. The surrounding area has plenty of shops, restaurants and offices that you can walk to from this CVS location.
