the cvs at 1138 N 2nd in Philadelphia has the worst customer service. the women, Alicia sold me pictures that did not finish printing, then got the final price from my ONLINE receipt. After she claimed 'they are all there'. She did not give me a receipt in the store which she denies. When I confronted her over the phone that they were not all there she raised her voice at me and then hung up on me. I called back and explained that you cannot hang up on paying customers, then she proceeded to hang up on me again. I went back to the store to get a refund (which she said I could do) but then she would not refund me because I didn't have the receipt she didn't give me. I also put my number in but she would not look it up. She then proceeded to raise her voice at me and at that time I did not feel safe so I left. I'm very upset with how the store is run and more upset that I didn't receive an item I paid for. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE.

I had received a coupon from GSW for Trelegy Elipita which I used in 2023, my co-pay was $0.00. On 1/12/24 my pulmonary Dr, gave me another coupon the 1st of this year after going for my check up . I presented it to the Pharmacist at CVS 101 City Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 where I get all my prescriptions. For two weeks I have been given the run around. First I was told the coupon was denied, I called GSW and they told me they didn't deny it, neither did caremark. I called the Pharmacy and held the phone for 2 hours, I let the phone ring as I drove there and it was still ringing and no one was answering the phones. I called GSW and spoke to Delana, Christie, Adira and the last one was Brittany today. They told me that when the pharmacist was applying the coupon, they reversed the claim and that's why it didn't go through. GSPW gave me a phone number for the Pharmacist (Rasheeda) to call direct so the problem could be corrected. I called her and gave her the information, she said she would call. That was yesterday 1/22/2024. Rasheeda also said I wouldn't be getting the prescription for free this time. The coupon would be covering $100.00 and that was fine. . Today 1/23/2024, I called GSW again and they told me they had been calIed by CVS (Rasheeda) was supposed to call back but didn't. I called CVS and spoke to her, she immediately began to tell me that they didn't get back to her, when in fact that's not what they told me. GSW said she was suppose to call them back and didn't. I told her that I would be picking up my prescription after work today. After my husband picked me we headed straight to CVS, she saw me and said she would be right with me, but instead a young man, that had helped me last year to get the coupon to go through made a call. He was on the phone for the same amount time I was there 1 hour. After all that he told Rasheeda and she conveyed to me that CVS is no longer accepting the coupons.... 2 WEEKS BACK AND FORTH TO TELL ME THEY ARE NOT ACCEPTING THE COUPON... VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

The absolute worst place in the world to pick up your medication. Do not go there. They’re rude and they take forever. Do yourself a favor, and find someplace else ???

Awful pharmacy. Raced there by 7:50pm to pick up my pain medicine (they close at 8). CLOSED. No reason, no apology. They simply don't care.

This not directed at the pharmacy staff at this location but CVS corporate and their app. Practically every time I schedule a vaccine (Covid, TDAP, whatever), I arrive on time and the pharmacist says they do not have the vaccine available for the appointment. When I ask why the app allows appointments when vaccines are not available, I get a shrug as if this happens all the time and not even a glimmer of apology for wasting my time. Complaints through the CVS app have been met with complete silence on each occasion.

I don't come here for much except the pharmacy like most. They definitely could use more staff at the pharmacy counter. Other than that... great pharmacy and it's close by.

Service at the pharmacy is unfortunately worsening - I find the people working at the counter to be unprofessional and discourteous. When people are waiting online to be helped, those who have waited in store for pickup should go in line after them. I was refused service by a technician two times after waiting to the point another customer even felt I should have been helped first. I had my own Rx ready for pick up. Looking to take my Rx elsewhere.

I am writing to complain about the head pharmacist Alex at the store located at 2132 South Street in Philadelphia. My daughter's camp lost all her epi pens which she needs for her allergies. Her allergist sent in a prescription for a brand necessary epi pen which Alex filled with generic. I called to ask him to please change to the brand and he told me the following (after I was on hold for over 15 minutes) "I am busy, my time is valuable, I don't have time to talk about this." I called him to correct a prescription for life-saving medication for my child and he didn't have the "time" to talk to me about how to have the doctor fix the script so he could fill it with the brand, nor did he "have time" to look up the cost or tell me when it would be available. I had the doctor send over another prescription with his requests and he said he would let me know when it was received (this was a Friday) and he never did. He is rude, unprofessional and should not interact with customers. I would not recommend using this CVS pharmacy.

Pharmacy pick up was horrible. Went to pick up medication and was told they were only helping the two people at the register and would not be able to help me and I'd have to come back in an hour. Went back and two people at register until there was a line, then went down to one register to help people. Bad customer service.

If you have any allergies to pet dander do NOT patronize this store. It's disgusting and health hazard for those with allergies. Dog with no credentials as service animals. It's an inside dog park.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever used!! I’ve been coming here for a year and I am finally switching after today. I called an order in, was told it would be ready in 4 hours. Fine, I understand the backup. I went to pickup, was told they didn’t have the order. Waited in line for drop off, they had it but no record of it being called in for order. Was told it would be 30 minutes until it’s ready. Came back 30 minutes later, went to pay and was told they can’t accept the coupon I was JUST TOLD WAS ACCEPTED HERE and I need to wait in another line at drop off. It’s now been 4 lines, one 25 minute phone call on hold, 5 different pharmacists, and I still don’t have my medication. This place is a disgrace, do not use this pharmacy they have no idea how to run an operation and are unbelievably rude.

This used to be an excellent pharmacy but they are very understaffed and there is always a long line with only one person working to distribute prescriptions. Very sad to see how downhill this site has gone.

Rating for the pharmacy: just moved here and had some prescription transfer issues. I really appreciate the pharmacist (unfortunately do not know his name) who assisted me in getting my diabetes medication in a couple days (Wegmans pharmacy took 2+ weeks telling me they’d have it in stock the next day and never did so it was urgent). He was very kind and had good communication on the status of my medication.
