Got stuck over night by American Airlines due to weather and pulled up Hilton app to book. The hotel is old and soon to be in need of work. Nearly asked to cancel after experiencing the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting, has a pool table in it, club music is pumping. Floor was dirty, TVs do not work for a sports bar, it was bad. After seeing this restaurant we got looking at the hotel closer and it just made us uncomfortable. Ceiling paint is peeling, elevators are dirty, loud and smell of weed. Room was clean and adequate but shower didn’t drain and thermostat didn’t do anything. Indoor pool was closed indefinitely. We asked at front desk about restaurant options which they didn’t know of any suggestions and then we googled and took an Uber to a close restaurant and it was not a good experience. The hotel seems to be in a rough area. Wouldn’t recommend leaving the hotel.Redeeming features, the front desk staff was friendly and kind and the airport shuttle was excellent with a great driver. This place is not up to Hilton standards but isn’t as bad as some places I’ve stayed. The people were nice which is a plus. Cannot have an airport hotel with a restaurant like that—unfair and unacceptable to people who are stuck without options.Rooms: Clean, basic and old. Close to needing renovation. Hot and thermostat did nothing.Safety: Not in a good area. Hotel seems safe.Walkability: NoneFood & drinks: Do not go to the restaurant. Absolutely filthy.

I'd stay here again for sure. The warm chocolate chip cookie sold me, a sweet bonus. I'm bias though, chocolate chip cookies are my weakness. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Every one of them that I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the folk cleaning the rooms, great. One of the staff that stood out to me was the hostess working the breakfast buffet. Very pleasant, approachable and friendly.I feel bad that I didn't keep her name in mind. I ate breakfast on the morning of March 13, 2024.Rooms: The room was good, basic, but good. It served it's purpose.Clean, comfortable and quiet. The king bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on.Nearby activities: I went to the Navy Yard for an afternoon to check out the decommissioned warships being scrapped. Very cool and only a mile or two away. The Philadelphia pro sports complex's are close also, caught a Flyers hockey game that night. I'm going to try dropping down this fall for an Eagles game. I'm not into baseball but if you are, the Phillies stadium is right there also.I went to the Philadelphia Zoo the next day, first time. An amazing and memorable experience if you are into that sort of activity. A nine mile Uber ride, inexpensive.Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!The small troop of Gorillas were fun to sit and watch for awhile. Their human like mannerisms were a trip.I highly recommend checking out the Philadelphia Zoo.Safety: Look both ways before crossing the road?I'm not exactly sure what is wanted for information from me in this section, lol.Walkability: There aren't any sidewalks anywhere around the hotel to walk anywhere close. There really wasn't anywhere close to walk to anyway. It's next to an international airport and in an industrial area.Cabs and Uber are the way to go if you're on foot and looking to sight see.The Free Shuttle to and from the airport was great.Walkability or lack there of is the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars across the board. Not really the fault of the Hotel.Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet was perfect in my opinion, the hostess working it was great. I wish I could remember her name.I also had the Chicken Tacos at the restaraunt for dinner, which were absolutely fantastic.

for a Doubletree, I’m expecting outstanding service in an outstanding room. I am a Hilton diamond member and needless to say this room is a dump. My bed sinks to the ground. I had toilet paper inside my toilet when I entered my bathroom there’s blood stains on my handle. I’m too tired to worry about it right now, but I’m gonna say check out the other hotels the airport this one needs some re-updating remodeling their pastor 10 year marker has started to show

Long story short it’s a bad hotel. Don’t fall for the pictures they post on the website. I would NOT recommend anybody stay here considering the price and the other available options. The “heated indoor pool” is the main reason we chose this location, but it’s freezing cold. Our toilet was dirty when we arrived and the bathroom door is broken in multiple places with a door handle that barely works. You have to pay extra for parking, pay extra for breakfast, and the rooms are flat out bad with signs of water damage all over the walls and ceiling. I would fight to get my money back and go to another hotel but unfortunately I booked with a third party travel company so I’ve basically been told “sorry, but you’re stuck”.The front desk staff is polite and trying their best given the situation. They seem to be the only bright spot in the whole place.Rooms: Rooms are dingy, bathroom toilet was dirty on check in, bathroom door has multiple spots where the door is broken and the bathroom door handle barely works.Noteworthy details: The “heated pool” is a flat out lie. It’s freezing cold. Parking is $20 PER DAY additional for the hotel lot.

This DoubleTree hotel, while handy due to its proximity to the airport, has seen a significant price hike over the last year, yet it still comes across as outdated and a bit tattered. Despite the increased rates, it falls short of providing a modern and comfortable experience.

This hotel should not have the Double Tree by Hilton name. Our room was so dirty. In fact, I’d bet it hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests. One bed had a small scab in it and the other had a blood stain on the sheets. The drawer had socks. Hair in the bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel. I reserved 3 nights and day one me and my wife went to enjoy the city. When we came back. They had checked us out and locked our belongings in the room. They said we only paid for one night. We had to show additional proof of it and after seeing my ID. The host called me a totally different persons name twice. She went on saying that they have a regular with a name similar. It was totally off and wrong. I forgot my keys and jacket also. I called 20 times and the phone just rings and hangs up. Finally when someone answered, she didn’t listen or show concerns about my stuff and transferred me to reservations. I live in GA and I don’t have my keys or jacket and they don’t even have empathy to assist me. Poor place to stay

Generally poor level of service and apparently incompetent management. AC/heating didn’t work, key card parking system didn’t work (each time they assured us they’d fixed it). Also, what kind of hotel room doesn’t come with a mini fridge?Wouldn’t come back.

I was given a room by a lovely front desk attendant, she was very sweet. Unfortunately, upon entering, I had to exterminate roughly 8 house flies, and a very large red questionable stain was located next to the side of the bed. There is also an abundance of noise; perhaps this is relative to the floor I was on, which was the 6th. I was not able to sleep at all, as there was yelling occuring on both sides of the walls. I also was unable to use my key card to enter or exit the parking, despite paying for it, but this was a minor inconvenience, as the hotel staff were prompt in opening the gates for me. Overall, the staff was very pleasant. I was definitely disappointed in the quality of the room for this hotel chain, but appreciate the professionalism of the staff.

Service is very slow at the front desk, there’s a big QR code in the room to scan for dining options… But no one answers the phone, and when calling the front desk about it, they say “oh we don’t have any food anymore”… outdated instructions and web info!Dated rooms.

Horrible hotel, everywhere in the hotel had a different horrible smell, indoor pool was ice cold, not child friendly hotel ( I couldn't get not one children's channel on the TV or change inputs to use my firestick, tried to get a pizza at the bar area for my son and the bar tender didn't even get to me in 15 minutes so I just ordered out, I definitely will not be staying there ever again.

Lobby furniture is worn and dirty. We asked for a later check out time and we treated a bit roughly
