So I'm gonna give Estia a 4, an average of 2 different visits (one was a 5/5 but the other was a 3/5). My first time at Estia was years ago for restaurant week and their lamb chops were one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten in Philly. More recently, I visited a second time. The lamb chops were a tad too salty this time so I was disappointed by that. My favorite item from the recent visit was the cheese saganaki which had nice flavor. My party did not enjoy the spanakopita. It was pretty bland. My friend loves spanakopita so she was excited to order it but she was very underwhelmed. I wouldn't recommend ordering that appetizer. We got the spreads pikilla, which came w/ 3 different spreads and pita. The spreads were pretty good! I've had better but they weren't bad. The fried calamari was one of the better calamari's I've had and the dipping sauce was really good too. The grilled shrimp was scrumptious but overpriced for just 4 pieces. Unfortunately the pasta ala grecca was very dry. It seemed like it was reheated. My partner got the chicken which was tasty and came w/ a flavorful orzo. I probably won't go back to Estia for a little while b/c of how the most recent visit went, with so many inconsistencies. But I'd love to circle back at some point, especially since I was so impressed during the first visit. The service is pretty good!

One of the BEST Greek/Mediterranean restaurants I have been to...period! From the calamari to the hummus to the Greek salad and spanakopita...everything was delicious! Our main entrees were lamb chops with Greek potatoes. Phenomenal flavor, taste and preparation. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Definitely a return visit! Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Finally got around to trying this place and went during restaurant week with my two girlfriends. The ambience of this place is wonderful!! As you walk in you feel like you are walking into Greece. (The only thing is the part we were sitting was a little too dark but otherwise the decor is great). Love the decor and everything. The service was outstanding as well. Our server was very attentive. We all got the restaurant week menu and I got the Mussels Saganaki, Lavraki, and for dessert I got the Baklava rolls. My friends got different items from the restaurant menu. I tried a bite of their dishes and every dish was excellent!!! This is def a great place for restaurant week and will be coming here often. I can see why this is one of the highly rated restaurants in Philly and why everyone raves about this place!!

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this restaurant - it exceeded my expectations!Located in the heart of center city, the restaurant boasts a spacious interior with a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it perfect for families, couples, or friends. The menu features classic Greek dishes, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried. The saganaki appetizer was a delightful start, and the moussaka entree was incredibly flavorful. The service was excellent - the staff were attentive and perfectly timed with their service.I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the mood for Greek cuisine in the city. Oh, and don't forget to check out the spacious and beautiful bathroom too!

One of my favorite restaurants I go to in the city. The quality of the food is amazing and the staff is just great. They are so hospitable, especially this one Greek man that was taking care of me during my birthday. I highly recommend! Great for groups and reservations are quite easy. Not sure how it'll be without a reservation. Definitely try their espresso martini!Food/Drinks: All amazing! I would recommend doing their sample menu if you want to try a bit of everything. However, you'd have to be hungry because it's a ton of food. I had their lobster pasta, roasted chicken, and lamb chops, and they were all delicious. True to the $$$.Ambience: Amazing! Makes you feel like you're in Greece, haha. Great for groups. Can bring a date as well but it's a bit loud.Rating: 9/10Pros: Lamb chopsCons: In middle of city so street parking might be tough. Lot parking available, but can be expensive

Great service, OUTSTANDING FOOD! So good I almost forgot to take photos. The seating space excellent as well. I have nothing to say about this place except that my wife and I really enjoyed the food/meals. Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes.

Estia is an unbelievably great experience! Our server, Saki and the rest of the staff were beyond helpful and accommodating. We took our daughter and a friend to celebrate her graduation and were very pleasantly pleased from stepping in the restaurant to leaving. Saki, took the time to connect with each of us providing friendship and guidance on how to enjoy their restaurant and our experience to the maximum extent. Make a reservation and then go tuck into great food and a life experience you will not forget.
