I rented a unit at Extra Space Storage in the Philly area for a full year, and it was a total win it’s clean and best rates in area.
The only minor hiccup was the elevators they’re a bit on the slow side but I never had any real issues or delays that caused problems. What really stood out was the top-notch communication; the team kept me updated every step of the way.
Shoutout to Kyle, who was incredibly helpful and made closing out my account quick and painless with no hassle

Customer service is A+. Every single person I talked to during my short one month stay was incredibly helpful, friendly, and answered any questions right away. I stored a car there and the space was clean, dry, easily accessible, and perfect for my needs. Would definitely again if I needed to--can't recommend them enough.

Easily the biggest rip-off I've ever experienced. My monthly fee started off somewhat reasonable but nearly doubled in about a year. After I called to complain about this, they gave me a lazy excuse saying it was inflation and cost of business. As if I'm supposed to believe that the overhead of having a big building with closets in it doubled in a year. They offered me a cheaper unit of similar size, which i accepted and which they (again) hiked up to almost double the initial fee within a year. I should've just moved my stuff elsewhere.
Avoid this place like it's the plague. It's a nice facility and all, but I'm guessing this business's model is to impress you with the appearance of the building and then lock you in, since most people can't just move their stuff to another storage business on a whim.
Also, most of these reviews are clearly fake. I've lived in this area of Philadelphia most of my life. This place hasn't been here long enough nor does it have the number of units that it would have this many reviews in the first place. Much less that they'd all be positive assuming other renters are enduring the same extortionate business practices.
