It would be hard to find a group of people more kind, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Fishtown Animal Hospital and their associated organization Fishtails.

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful place Fishtown Animal Hospital is. The vets are caring, knowledgeable, and top notch. Their dedication and care are unparalleled. The techs, customer service staff, and everyone there are attentive, kind, pleasant, and wonderful in every way.

Very friendly and helpful. The vet has been reasonable with tests acknowledging costs and risk / benefit if they’re actually required. Really love this vet! Highly recommend

I have switched vets and I'm so happy made the switch to fishtown animal hospital! They are extremely compassionate they really care about the furbabies. I always get in when I have an issue or concerned with something. Getting an appointment is easy getting meds is easy and convenient. Pic from our visit today.

The front desk staff is atrocious. Kailey will actually hold personal vendettas and not put messages through to your vet. It's so unprofessional, and they change how they treat people from patient to patient. The lack of care is truly upsetting. The staff at this place will just let your dog suffer from issues while you all watch all because of a secretary on her high horse. If you want your dog to continue to suffer, bring them here. It's definitely the place for it.

I've been going too fishtown vet since they started there, they are fair but very out going with your pets. Somethings are a little pricey, but if you let them know you're situation, they do their best to take care of you!

The staff is always super friendly during visits, and extremely helpful even to answer questions or talk through concerns over the phone inbetween, especially Jaime. Love how caring Dr Newth is and surprised out of all of her patients she does remember little details discussed at previous appointments!! Pricing is super fair for how much they care here!! Love it here!

The kindest humans you'll ever meet. My 85lb 10 yo dog is scared of other dogs and new people and FAH has always been so accommodating and sweet. They love my pup and we love them! Thank you so much!!

We're from out of town and they had same day appointments. Our dog had a large hematoma(blood blister) in their ear. The vet gave us 3 options: leave it alone and it will take a month or so to heal but it might turn into cauliflower ear, drain it with a port but they didn't have that equipment, or surgery. It was disappointing because it just needed to be drained.

Was recommended here by a friend since my old vet wasn't available and i needed to find one with more hours of service. The staff were all super sweet and welcoming to both me and my dog and he loved every second of the attention. I love that everything is sent through email, easy to contact, and all pricing and treatment options are conveyed in case anything can be held off for the next visit. All of my questions were answered and everyone was so kind and understanding with everything. I'm so glad i was able to get to FAH definitely my go to vet for the future.

I really can’t overestimate how influential the team at Fishtown Animal Hospital have been for me and my cat, Bubba. About 3 years ago I brought in my family cat, who I had “adopted” from my parents and who had been recently diagnosed with diabetes, after moving to Philly. I didn’t have any experience with chronic illnesses in pets and hardly any experience with pets period. I simply knew I needed a vet who I could trust and who would truly be my partner in caring for him — and for me too, given that I felt overwhelmed by the care I knew he would need likely for the rest of his life.Bubba has seen both Dr Newth and Dr Cohn in the time he’s been going to Fishtown Animal Hospital, over dozens of visits at this point. They have done so much for us: they taught me how to give him his insulin shots, showed me how to run a glucose curve at home to help me save money on vet bills, recommended wonderful cat sitters for cats with special needs, coordinated his care with 2 different ER vets, talked me through difficult moments at nearly all hours of the day. Even after moving to South Philly, we still make the trip up to see them because I genuinely can’t imagine trusting anyone else. The front desk staff and vet techs are equally compassionate, thoughtful, and generous with their time and care. Because Bubba is such a frequent visitor, I have had the pleasure of getting to know their staff — all of whom are lovely humans and nothing but patient with my many questions and concerns sent via phone calls, voicemails, and emails :)Hands down, they are the reason my perfect little monster cat has enjoyed a full life despite his diabetes (and the complications that often come with it) and they have helped me tremendously in caring for a pet with complicated health issues. I can’t recommend them enough.
