I've used Gentle Giant in the past, they were great. However, this time the movers ripped my door off the hinges. I wasn't upset about it, and contacted quality control to get reimbursed for door repair. Asked to have the money directed to my bank account, and they confirmed it would go to my bank account. They sent it to my credit card that I had paid the initial $200 deposit on. I had already paid the door repair from my bank account, so I'm out $500 for a door repair due to their mistake with a new system.

Moving, no matter the distance, is stressful and unpleasant. My boyfriend and I weren’t moving far, but were completely overwhelmed after trying to move our things bit by bit. From the moment I requested an estimate from Gentle Giant, I received nothing but amazing service. On the day of our actual move, three charming, funny and considerate guys showed up at our door (early)! James A., Stephen C and Mikyas B. were a dream team. They took great care with all our furniture and offered to take more than what we had listed on our estimate inventory. They helped move our art collection and a closet full of clothes on hangers, all things we had considered moving in our car. There were some issues going into our new building (a service elevator that was down and painters who were finishing up). But these guys were professional, taking everything in stride. I know I was so anxious about the move, but they put me at ease. Even though there were extra charges added at the end, the total amount was still way less than what we had expected. Hands down would recommend Gentle Giant to anyone who needs to move!

Moving is so stressful all by itself but the young men from Gentle Giants made this move to storage a very pleasant event. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone with a move in the planning. Careful, capable , efficient and easy to work with.

We had an excellent experience with Gentle Giant moving our son between apartments in Philadelphia. Matt fielded our inquiry and provided us with detailed information as we worked through the quoting process. Every detail was confirmed in an email within minutes. Maddie communicated clearly when following up by phone and email to confirm our move date and important details for move day. Dusan and Michael (our crew) moved with intention and purpose throughout the move day to quickly and efficiently protect and load/unload our goods in a timely fashion. There were no surprises with Gentle Giant on move day. We were extremely pleased with our experience and recommend them without reservation.

My move with Gentle Giant was incredibly smooth! The crew, James, Joel, and Thomas, were punctual, professional, and kind. They handled all of my belongings with care. Everyone else at Gentle Giant, including the coordinators and booking folks, were exceptionally helpful. I look forward to booking Gentle Giant for my next move!

I used Gentle Giant for a move within Philadelphia. The moving crew (James A. and Dorin D.) showed up on time. They were able to handle a lack of parking outside both my old home and the new, carried my belongings up and down flights of tricky stairs at both locations, and got it all done in a shorter time frame than the estimate I received. I would be happy to use Gentle Giant again and would recommend them for moves in the Philly area.

Steven C. and Joel B. were beyond amazing! They were very polite and it took them all of 45 minutes to move our daughter's 300 sq ft apartment. The golden moment was them taking an equal amount of time, care, and expertise to move a favorite wing chair out of the apartment. Having been a Marine Corps Wife with 20+ moves experience, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company. Gentle Giant is the GOLD standard:)

No one likes to move. It's a hassle. We used Gentle Giant to move our daughter in Philly. They were prompt, professional and very efficient. They made it as easy as possible. We would definitely use them again and unfortunately, probably will.

Using Gentle Giant to help us move was the best decision we made throughout the entire moving process. We used their services to move only a few block within Philadelphia. However, as we were moving out of a 4th story walk up into a 2nd story walk up, this is not a job that my wife and I could complete on our own in one weekend between all our belongings, suitcases of clothes and not to mention large furniture items.The movers sent to us by Gentle Giant were quick, efficient and professional and never gave a hint of complaint as they relayed items quickly to their truck through the four flights of our walk up in the summer heat. Should we need to move again, we would definitely go with Gentle Giant!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with GG moving company. The guys made the move easy and quick, while being so helpful and kind. Something came up the morning of my move and they were accommodating and understanding. I hadn’t moved on my own before or had movers and I would use Gentle Giant for every move I ever have for as long as I’m in the area. Hands down the best company ever!

Can't write enough good things! I had a fairly complicated move, and from the get go their team was so helpful with my schedule. They called to confirm a couple days prior and communicated with me the day of the move. They placed all my things in their appropriate rooms and were fast, kind, and professional. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company

Gentle Giant was more than a pleasure to work with. They were punctual, professional and careful. Not only did they take their time carefully packing and unpacking our furniture, art, lamps and TVs, but they were also efficient and completed the job within the quoted amount of time. I also appreciated that the cost of the job was very clear and reasonably priced. I will definitely be recommending Gentle Giant to my Philly friends.

The folks at Gentle Giant were amazing! They moved us from a ground floor 1 bedroom into a rowhouse with narrow stairs, and they were super efficient, kind, and excellent at their jobs! They gave one of the best quotes of the companies we called and it ended up being on the lowest end of their range. They were friendly, professional, and easy to work with.The 5 guys were always checking in with us about item placement, offered to help us try out different furniture arrangements, and went beyond our expectations. These are good people!I'd easily recommend them to anyone. By far the best move we've ever done!

Everyone knows moving is stressful.... so do yourself a favor and hire Gentle Giant! I used them to move across the country and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. They are EFFICIENT...they are fast, they are careful and they are professional!! Both my crews and everyone behind the scenes is INCREDIBLE. Was it the cheapest option? No, but I wouldn't change a thing. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I hired Gentle Giant for two moves. One move into a storage unit, and the other into an apartment. They were very accommodating, especially with one of the moves happening during Memorial Day weekend. Both teams I had were professional and made both moves stress-free! I highly recommend hiring Gentle Giant! Will definitely use them again in the future!
