1. I love this place but today was unacceptable. Unfortunately being a minority you have that fear and the man that waited on us displayed just that on top of the look on his face which seemed like he didn’t want to wait on us ??.
2. I had to double take thinking “i know he’s not picking the chicken up with his bare hand….he was! I had to walk closer to make sure, Ive NEVER seen a worker there not use a glove. I thought he was going to wash his hands after bagging the chicken but NO he touched the bag we had to carry, the apple pay machine and he picked somebody’s else’s steak up with the same hand. I work in the industry so at least in front of customers wear gloves. Im hoping he wasn’t just being nasty to the colored people. They probably should just have him in the boh because everything about his aura was off.

I have been customer for years and after today I will not be going back! The service wasn’t great at all I felt rushed! I ordered 2 lbs of chicken wings and when I got home when was taking my meats out of my bag and discovered that I was shorted almost A pound of wings! I will be taking my business elsewhere in the terminal

So the other day, I found myself in a totally innocuous conversation, with just some dude I run into every Sunday, and interact for approx 1.5 mins..conversation was about how difficult it is to find turkey legs and thigh bones this time of year (I know, kinda weird conversation to have, don't judge), other than what you get on a whole turkey, which tend to be on the smaller size, turns out to be the owner of Giunta Butcher shop in Reading Terminal Market, and he has these delivered to my house...just like Oprah kinda used to say " you get to have a turkey roulade, everybody gets to have turkey roulade this year"...these things are massive, and the price, what some people look for in reviews, insanely reasonable, couldn't be more happier!!

Thank you, Rob, for getting me the meat I needed!! The ribs are so fresh and delicious, they are falling apart in the sauce. And tomorrow is the Lechon roast and “chicharron” out of the skin!! And the price? Incredible!! I will be back for all my meats from now on! No more grocery store ‘meat’ for me!!

Amazing customer service and good prices. We came in with a couple of out of the ordinary requests for our dog. They helped us with our order, and one employee even went to another part of the mall to look for beef heart and liver. They cut everything exactly to order and even clipped the nails off the chicken feet for our dog.I wish we lived in the area, we would buy all of our meat there.

When I look at all these cooking shows, where everyone is an expert grill master with $5,000.00 smokers and grills the price of a mortgage, I just shake my head. Everyone has a specialty spice they swear needs to be sprinkled or rubbed on the meat. But I'm here to tell you, you need just a few things: a great cut of meat from Giuntas, salt, pepper. oil, frying pan. That's it. Butter and garlic are optional. I asked for butcher to cut me a thick piece of bone in rib roast. I took it home, seasoned both sides with cracked black pepper and sea salt, put in fridge overnight. Sat out for an hour then heated up frying pan with Avocado oil. When pan smoked I added steak and I did not turn. Repeat other side. Stand on end and brown edges. Marinate with butter and garlic cloves. Finish in oven. The steak you see is what I, a regular Joe schmo cook, made. Thank you Giunta for having the best and kindest butchers. You have an awesome team that takes pride in their trade and in interacting professionally with the customer.

These folks never failed to deliver. No matter what I need, and when I need it, they always have it, or can get it fairly quickly. On one particular occasion, the owners little girl saved me as I was having additional guests and a turkey breast they ordered would've been too small and she really really made it happen for me and got me the size I needed. you can really really tell the difference in the quality of the meats at this place and it shows in a big way.

Consistently bad customer service. People get a ticket then walk away and then they are not there when called. Then these people come back up and jump into line no matter which number ticket they are on. Make these people get a new ticket! I’ve waited long enough and will not be coming back.

Came here November 2022. I have memories of meat markets like this in NJ that aren't there anymore. This seemed to have everything and it looked very fresh. When I stay in town longer, I will definitely come and pick some juicy meat up. I didn't get to try any of the meat so I'm only giving a rating of a four. I'd highly recommend check this meat market out and maybe you can leave me a note if you enjoy the meat.
