Harriett's Bookshop is an independent bookshop in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia celebrating women authors, writers, and activists. It is a warm, inviting, comfortable, and cozy space with a great vibe to read in. The book selection is purposeful, not huge, but offers great value with interesting collections, including various cook and history books. The service is helpful, kind, lovely, and warm. As a Black-owned business, it is an important and inspiring place full of history, love, and powerful stories, making it a can’t miss space in the city.
LOVED THIS SHOP. The vibe was great to read in, the selection wasn't huge, but purposeful. The woman working there was so kind and helpful + her dog was precious!

FireStar is an excellent host and a joy! It was wonderful to see so many great black owned businesses throughout the city. I'm definitely recommending the bookshop and tour to whoever will listen 😀
