The Joseph E. Mander Playground is a beloved community space in the Strawberry Mansion area, known for hosting local kids and families. The playground equipment could use some updates, but the park's sightlines make it easy for parents to keep an eye on their children. The playground has a rich history, serving as a gathering place for neighborhood sports and activities. While some improvements could be made, the community is passionate about the park and its continued role in the area.
This is my neighborhood's playground and it has always hosted all of the kids within the Strawberry Mansion area. Most people are from the community and know each other one way or another. It is pretty easy to keep your eyes on your kid because of the sightlines the park has.

It was ok. Playground equipment need to be replaced due to damage and there should be parents out there watching there kids, but other than that my son and grandson enjoyed.
