The only reason I gave this WALGREENS location one(1) star is because they don't let you post your comments UNLESS you give the store at least one(1) star. " I DID NOT WANT TO GIVE THIS STORE A STAR ". Filthy store, rude employees .. & .. when they contact you about your prescription being ready .. & .. you drive over to pick it up .. they tell you, " It'll be ready in 20 minutes ". I had dental surgery & stopped at this WALGREENS ( 8828 Frankford Avenue ) to get a prescription my dentist called in. I knew I was going to be waiting .. so I went to the cashier to ask for the bathroom key .. because I was getting sick. I could barely talk & my face was really swollen. The check-out woman was talking with a friend .. & .. she told me I'D HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SHE WAS DONE .. before she could wait on me. I stood there for 5 minutes before I had to go outside & throw up. After a 30 minute wait .. I went in & got my prescription. A couple of days later I switched my business to the RITE-AID in the Morrell Shopping Center .. on Frankford Avenue. Best move I ever made. When I mentioned the WALGREENS at 8828 Frankford Avenue to friends .. they said to me, " Why did it take you so long to switch ? We knew about this store & how bad it is ".

Don't use this pharmacy at all. I can't explain how disappointed I am in them. I made my COVID PCR test appt and went there to give my sample on a Thursday (July 06). They promised results in 2 days. I was trying to check the results on the portal and it says "Sample was never received" I called them and they said oh sorry didnt send the sample to the lab and its still sitting at the pharmacy. WHYYYY ? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ?? Walgreens said waiting for FEDEX to come pick it up. ARE YOU SERIOUS, Its Monday now (July 10) and you are telling me that the sample is still sitting on your desk. Whose fault is this ? Walgreen's ? Lab's ? FEXEX's? or my for choosing them for my need. I needed this test results back ASAP as it is effecting my work :'( I need an explanation WALGREENS !!

They are not very welcoming. Phlebotomists gave you vague answers and if ask them to explain their vague answers they lambasted you stealthily. Terrible.

wish you put multiple '0' stars. whoever put that bogus 5 star review must work there. practically everytime i call i'm placed on hold, just now it was for 17 minutes, kept picking up & immediately placed right back on hold... then DISCONNECTED.... MY blood is boiling, this was after having been LIED to multiple times by a pharmacy employee (woman) first told me my script wasn't filled because it got wet when put through at the drive in window. MY SCRIPT WAS SENT ELECTRONICALLY FROM MY DOCTORS OFFICE, OK she puts me on hold for SEVENTEEN MINUTES, then i'm DISCONNECTED. This is a consistant & continued response from this WALGREENS PHARMACY. i just called them again, and miraculously they answered, too little, too late... IM SWITCHING PHARMACYS... I lodged a formal complaint, but i'm certain they'll put an... it wasn't us, not our fault. and blame it a computer outage, but this treatment has been going on long before any outage excuse!!!

Today was the first negative experience here. As I was waiting, two women came out and called Michelle. The second time I verified the name because the name is a little similar to mine and there was no one responding to the name Michelle. The blonde woman in her 40s or older replied "I said Michelle." In an unfriendly tone. An older man told her he was having trouble checking in. She replied You need my help? In an unfriendly tone. Of course he wants your help! She started to help him by saying impatiently and rudely "I don't know why you did that" and then said it was fine (because he had registered successfully without realizing it.) This was early in the morning, I can't even imagine how rude and nasty she would be late in the day. This woman should be fired for terrible customer service. A slender, white woman middle-aged.

Try getting through to the photo department on the phone! On Saturday, 1/16, I received a coupon for same-day photo services with a 75% off discount. I submitted two orders on 1/16 (#*881, *828). On 1/17 I received an email stating that order #*881 was ready. On 1/17 I received another email saying that order #*828 could not be filled and was cancelled. I called Customer Service and was able to have this order sent to another nearby store. The customer service agent had me resubmit the order, called the store, and got them to approve the 75% expired coupon. On 1/19 I was told the other order was delayed and to call the store. I spent HOURS trying to reach someone at the store. I kept being put on hold. I called customer service again, but the person I got this time couldn't help me. Today, I received notice that the order was cancelled. I cannot resubmit the order with an expired coupon. I have spent several hours since then trying to resolve this issue with their phone support (unhelpful), store support (can't get through to the photo department) and the Facebook page (nothing they can do - they told me to call customer service). They need to honor these 75% coupons or tell you the same day they can't print it. I have done everything possible from my side. When I visited the store before I submitted the order, they told me they could print it. After I submitted the order, they tell me several days later they don't have the materials. I could have sent it to another store if I had been properly notified. Their customer service is impossible to use and very unhelpful. Phone support in the store is a joke! I spent hours trying to get hold of someone at the store. What an unbelievably screwed up company. Last time I do business with them :(

Always check your photo order before you leave! This is my second time having an issue. The first time, there were white lines in the poster. This time, the poster was damaged in two places because of how it was folded and put into a plastic bag. When I mentioned it, they printed another and then cut a chunk off the top. I asked him to print another, have it ready and I would be back the next day. Today I go back and nothing is ready. The person behind the counter looks as if he doesn't recognize me from the day before. He begins fiddling on the computer looking for the order to print it. I asked him was it printed like I asked and he says no, because I "took the order number" with me. The photo staff at this time need to be trained and need to ask for help if they don't know how to do something. I gave him 24hrs to make it right and he did not.

Great most of the time other times it's slow had to wait 2 hours after my appointment time to be seen half the staff just didnt show with no call at all.

Went here to get bloodwork done 2 weeks ago and I must say that Karima is one nasty individual. It's not about what you say , it's how you say it at the end of the day. She needs to reconsider a career change
