Booked an executive king suite, they put us into a normal room with two double beds. Staff is unwilling to accommodate changes even after being shown booking.Update:We got our room changed after speaking with the manager. BUT they tried to charge us for both rooms, this is completely unacceptable. I blame the kid that didn't have a name tag on and gold rimmed glasses- he truly made out stay terrible. He was combative and rude. Don't stay here if you expect to be treated like a human. Also the hotel smelled like weed- you couldn't get away from it. This truly is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Also the hotel itself and the rooms were filthy.

After reading some other reviews I’m not sure if our experience was a one off but the front desk staff were great and helpful! We ended up getting in a few hours ahead of schedule and they let us check in ahead of check in time. Yes, a lot of the rooms have inward facing windows so they’re on the darker side but it was cloudy and raining our whole stay so that didn’t bother us much. The only issue we had was the toilet would run randomly throughout the day and night so that was a bit annoying but it wasn’t the end of the world. Personally I’d stay here again location is great!Rooms: Quiet

My wife and I are travel agents and like to share our experiences with clients. Our advice for this hotel is stay down the street at Best Western or Holiday Inn.First they gave is keys that didn't work so we had to go get new keys.We get into the room and try to open the blinds, they don't work. We actually broke the chain trying to get them open.Went to bathroom. There appeared to be a poop stain on top of the seat and urine drops under the seat. After I went to the bathroom I tried to flush the toilet. That didn't worm because after all number 1 should clog up a toilet. We called front desk, who was very nice. She kept this from being a 1-star. I am assuming it was security that brought up the key. As soon as he showed up we about got knocked over with odor of marijuana.Had to drop to a one-star review after spending 65 a night for overnight parking someone tried to break into my truck. No one can get me answers or even following up after I ask at three valet folks who said they were talking to supervisor and looking at video. No update, after hotel management and valet management said they would investigate and get back to us no one has.

Words cannot express how bad the quality of this hotel is! I read so many reviews before booking but still chose to stay because it was conveniently located. While the staff was pleasant, their kindness did not make up for the extreme filth! When I arrived, the staff member supposedly upgraded my room to one with a better “view”. While heading to the room, I realized that even my key cards were filthy (no exaggeration)! I had to clean them once I entered the room. When I walked in I immediately noticed how dark it was and how dingy it smelled. I later discovered that the smell came from the non-vacuumed rugs. There were several stains all over the furniture and something that looked like bodily fluids on my curtain in the bedroom. Tables and phones had stains all over them. I arrived Sunday afternoon and never received cleaning even upon multiple, daily requests. If this was the “upgrade”, I’m terrified what room I originally would have been in. It is apparent that this hotel does not have real housekeeping staff. It is also apparent that this hotel is putting on a facade as an upscale hotel when in reality, it’s worse than Bates Motel! DO NOT BOOK/STAY HERE!

Rooms need a good cleaning, dust behind everything, see photos, coffee maker in the room, no coffee! You can go down to the lobby and get a cup of coffee for $7. Not the best area. You might want to order delivery.Rooms: Need a good cleaning!Safety: Not a great area.

During my stay, the WiFi was down. Frustrating that I came for a business trip and there was no wifi for me to use...Also, there was a worker who was rolling the loudest cart the entire floor at 5am waking me up. To make matters worse, my side of the building had a truck pull up outside and made so much noise. It was impossible for me to get a decent sleep with all the noise going on around.Rooms: Clean rooms and very modern. Nice and brightly lit

Front desk people were inattentive and clueless with wrong info and lack of caring. The room had not been properly cleaned and serviced after the prior guest. Very disappointing.Rooms: Poorly maintained and serviced.

The room was spacious, however the shower was disgusting. The shower was filthy, stained, and not in a clean condition. The valet took 20-25 mins to retrieve my car after being very abrasive about doing it. The area of the hotel was ok. There were a fair amount of homeless in the surrounding area of the hotel. I’d book somewhere else.

Trust me do not stay in this hotel—there is no security. We booked 6 rooms for a family reunion. Night one, one room that a family member checked into had obvious signs that the door had been kicked in. Thought that was strange but since the lock still worked, they let it slide. I was the last person to check in with my son. Upon opening our door, we discovered someone else was already checked into the room (thankfully they weren’t there—just saw their belongings). Again, thought it was weird but unfortunately just alerted the front desk and got a new room. Fast forward to the following morning. On floor 5, where half our party was staying, we saw 2 men sleeping on the lobby couches. Totally unacceptable but we had to be on time for an event and left without reporting anything. Returned that evening, changed quickly and left for dinner—did notice that housekeeping had fixed up the room. Returned late that night and went to bed. Upon checking out of the hotel, discovered that my 1900$ Moncler jacket had gone “missing” from my room. Went downstairs and filed a report. I explained I was positive that my jacket was there the previous morning and that I had not worn it that day or evening. My son was staying with me, so I had a witness to this—along with all my other family members who could vouch for the fact I didn’t wear my jacket. The front desk manager said they would file a claim with Marriott’s insurance company and that “this happens all the time” and not to worry. That was a huge RED FLAG—and of course it sunk in that I was never going to be reimbursed for my coat….but I held out hope because it’s Marriott and I’m a gold member. I’ve stayed in more hotels than I can count…and have never had a theft occur…so I was just naive about all this. But long story short, I should have made security go up to the room and verify that the coat wasn’t in the room and allowed them to inspect my luggage to confirm it also wasn’t there. Now I just call Marriott and the hotel over and over and over again and no one is able to help and no ever returns my call.

Things started off great but when we arrived at our room, it was very dark and turning on the lights did not help, it only revealed the cheap plastar job done to the ceiling in three different places. When we entered the bathroom, it revealed a tub shower rather than the luxurious walk-in shower shown in the photos. Inside the shower was cheaply put together tile that had cracks in the grout. Looking at the attached shampoo bottles, we found the mounts were coming off the tile and also found a few very long hairs. Looking down, we found a dirty tissue next to the drain which by the way, drains slowly, slow enough that my feet and ankles got their own kiddie pool after about 5 minutes. There was also no bathrobe like promised. The "marble" bathroom was far from marble, the marble walls turned out to just be wallpaper and the floors just standard tile. The TV remote did not work in bed for some reason no matter where we pointed. The walls were very thin as we could hear just about everything happening in other rooms and the hallway. The mobile key that was promised only became available to me about 2 hours before checkout. No ventilation in the bathroom, not even a small vent as well as no inner shower curtain so water went absolutely everywhere. There were numerous mystery stains all over the floors and one of the shades didnt even work. Considering what was promised and for the price, we are very disappointed with our stay. At least the beds were comfortable and the room had plenty of outlets.

Breakfast ends at 10. They oversold the rooms. Booked a king room, went to check in said they aren’t available but we have doubles. Still paid for king room price. Double room bathroom was dirty. Did not accommodate parking only gave me free drinks. Would not recommend don’t know why it’s 4 stars.

Le meridien was a disappointment to say the least…attempted to get basic supplies for the room on 6 different occasions (towels and shampoo). fast forward 36 hours and they still hadnt delivered these items and failed to have housekeeping do our room while gone fir the day. But wait, IT GETS BETTER!!!the woman at the front desk, who claims to be the manager (probably wont be wearing a name tag) was EXTREMELY rude to my fiance and i on the phone telling us to be patient and interrupting us, the proceeding to hang up the phone.no staff would provide us with her name, nor connect us with a general manager. To the woman at the front desk: go to h*** ?BOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!

We've stayed here for a tabletop and board gaming convention for 3 years. Usually no problems. This year we arrive at 10:30PM to check in to be informed that the room we booked with a king bed was unavailable, but an "upgraded" room with 2 beds that's "more spacy" was available, or we could wait TWO HOURS for them to finish prepping the rooms that included the one we booked. The excuse they provided was that between the convention and multiple hotel hosted events, the rooms simply weren't available or ready. Seriously? That's like the primary job of a hotel. We book a room and pay the hotel, in return, they provide what was booked. A very simple transaction. The rooms are booked months in advance, the hotel is specifically listed by the Convention Center, the hosted events would have been scheduled way in advance as well, and they knew how many rooms they booked. So how were they not prepared? Very unprofessional. Given we just spent 7 hours driving, we elected to take the "upgrade". At the desk, we were assured the beds were queens. We get up to the room to discover the beds are doubles. We were way too tired with a busy schedule the next morning to go back down to complain or wait for the room we actually booked, so we stuck with our "upgrade." On our way to the room, we noted that in their indoor courtyard they had set up over a dozen large round tables. Awesome, we thought. They finally learned after the 6th year of this Convention that it is a tabletop gaming convention, and they are giving the attendees a place to play their newly bought games! In previous years there was maybe a random table or two that would fill up very quickly, and the rooms are way too small and have no tables to play in, so that option was out. Well, we get back to our hotel after the first night of the convention to discover that they had put all the tables away?!? It's almost as if they don't want to room guests of the convention. Some more issues, the room wasn't even fully cleaned when we got in, and they never replenished or cleaned our (terrible) coffee station in the room. This would be a 2 star review, but when we checked out we complained about all the above and they comp'd us one night out of three, so they get a bump of one star. However, we will likely not be staying there for next year's convention.
